Yes, these things can absolutely put you on your butt Magic9 touched on this but they're different experiences. I can make my dyna hit as hard as my e-nano but it requires a bit more effort and risk of combustion. With my e-nano I only risk combusting if I go over 7.5 AND draw really slowly...
