Ah, that makes me feel better about spending money on the heater cover. Makes sense, I guess - it's glass after all. The vape only fell about a foot and a half, but with the bowl and whip attached it's not surprising why the heater cover broke.
Just ordered one from vaporizers.ca - can't beat $5 flat rate shipping. I also treated myself to some other stuff - a wood stem for my Launch Box (the acrylic one looks gross), a new cyclone bowl (the one that was in the vape broke when the heater cover broke), and some flavour drops. Has anyone...
Thanks chucku. Man, that's a relief...looking at some links and videos online, it seems like a pretty simple fix, and the replacement glass is only $20-$25. Just waiting to hear back from Arizer to see if they'll sell me one. If not them, I'll try Rockwise. I just want to keep shipping within...
@#$@#%^%#!!!!
My damn cat just knocked my EQ off a table and onto the floor. The heater cover is broken - when I look into the unit I now see a white cylinder surrounded by broken glass.
When I bought my EQ last year, I didn't get a receipt - therefore my unit isn't under warranty.
Anyone...
Call me crazy, but I don't like the stock whip for my EQ vape. It looks cheap and because it's clear, gets dirty fast. Has anyone replaced their whip with a hookah hose? I think it would be a classy look.
What tripped me out about LA Noire were scenes where you were interrogating some witness who clearly didn't commit the crime but look away or touch their face while answering your question. Obviously you 'Doubt' them, where in the real world you might press a little harder with your questioning...
What do you guys think of LA Noire? I liked it once I got accustomed to it being more of a playable movie than a game. Good game to vape with too, with lots of cut scenes and pretty graphics. Still, I regret buying it. I should have just rented. Once beaten, there's not much incentive to play...
Stu: I agree! With my EQ, and now with my MFLB, a big part of the fun is learning how to use them and experimenting. I like how the EQ has so many variables to tinker with.
Personally, I preheat at 200 for 5 minutes or so, then hit it until it no longer tastes 'green', then turn it up 10...
iMikers - the most important thing to keep in mind with your friends is that the MFLB has a very delicate screen. You should ideally only touch it with the cleaning brush, never your hands. So don't let them pack or empty bowls!
I have a simple question for the community here....after less than...
I'm a really big fan of my EQ. I keep saying it, but I think it's a better vaporizer than the Volcano, even if they were to cost the same price. Here are my reasons:
-Volcano definitely fills a bag faster, but EQ is no slouch. It can also be fitted with Volcano bags if you like the valve...
I'll offer my insight...
After experiencing vapor for the first time with a Volcano, I wanted a way to vaporize at home. I bought a Dominizer (www.dominizer.com) in 2008 for $20. Like the poster above who had a friend who made his own, it worked. You weren't (usually) burning the herb, but were...
Thanks for distilling those tips, Vessel. And thanks for the vid, slain. I've been trying some things, like inhaling like it's a straw or cigar, with better success. Figuring out the optimal way to use something like this is a really fun part of the process.
I have a question. I understand that...
Vessel - I was in pretty much the same boat as you. I've only owned my Launch box for six hours or so, so I can't really give an endorsement yet (although I love it through two or three sessions so far). I love my Extreme Q and Arizer in general, but with the Solo, I found it was somewhat large...
Hey guys, haven't posted in forever. I've owned an Extreme Q for about a year, but wanted a portable option (I have a one-hitter but am trying to abolish smoking) because I love doing it on the go. I checked out Arizer's new Solo and it looks like a great piece of technology, but isn't totally...
