I had to email VXL becuase the quality of the new ELBs were terrible. Two had metal wires sticking out and another was a not straight. They did quickly reply and sent me a new pack, but they still don't seem as nice as the ones that came with the EVO.
Spent past two days preparing for this hurricane going to hit the evo for the last time while the power is still on, then put it away from the windows :)
Got some new ELB's in the mail today. After only having one bowl for over a month, the convenience of multiple bowls is so relaxing. Was reminded how big of a difference clean bowls make.
Also used a pipe today which tasted disgusting despite it being recently cleaned, don't even feel that I...
Well yes knocking over your EVO is always a potential danger. I'm really not sure what would happen if you turn on your EVO if it's still a little damp. I may be missing something [7] but wouldn't the water just evaporate quicker with heat? It's just water on heated glass, but yeah the word...
I recently cleaned my EVO after having so much gunk from my ignorant first concentrate session. Definitely look back in the thread for detailed explanations on how to do it. I'll give you a couple tips though.
1. However much liquid you think is needed to clean the EVO, I guarantee its too...
I typically make it whistle when I hit it, but I'm not sure that its necessary or even proper. It doesn't seem to hit much differently whistling or right below whistling so its probably just whatever feels best for your draw.
This feels exactly how my vape performs. I found 11 oclock and I get a really good amount of hits out of it that are still cloudy enough. At least to me, I think I'm still not adjusted to vape high compared to combustion high, since this is my first vape and I still combust every other day...
I tried taking that off and heating it. I still had the smell. :(
If I don't put my nose really close to the Evo, then I don't notice any smell. I'd guess that if I was hitting off a hydratube I wouldn't even know that there was a smell. If it were more serious electric/plastic burning type...
I put the silicone cap on the bottom of the bamboo then filled with alcohol first. Left it and then I rinsed it with water. I had a plastic bag with a hole in it that I taped around the top of the bamboo when pouring so that nothing would get into the electronic opening of the Evo. Additionally...
I've had it a couple weeks though and used it thoroughly. Can't figure out how cleaning the bamboo would make the smell stronger without it being something wrong.
Whelp, having an electronic smell after cleaning the evo. It heats up fine and gets to the right temp. I've smelled it before cleaning if I were to just smell the evo heated up but now it seems more apparent. What's my best course of action?
