I am in Florida, right now 90 degrees or so, heat index probably over 100. The only time I get a reheat flash is if I take a big pull right when it goes solid. I actually cut the top off my silicone shield, it was getting too hot under there.

4.2 volts is max you want to pump in, so without a crazy expensive charger, I think 4.19 is great. Plugging the Air in after probably did not add anything more even though it was green. Just took that long for the circuits to see that the battery was good.

I wrote a few threads earlier that my NCR18650B if anything get a tad bit warm, hardly noticeable. There is absolutely no reason why using a genuine NCR18650B is going to hurt anything. It's drain rate is completely adequate to power the AA without issues. Had mine a few months now with zero...

Mine has never come out anything more than a tad bit warm. I made sure to try this before consistent use.

Yes it works fine, just if it breaks, dont tell anyone you used a non-oem battery

I would not try and use that battery. It is slightly longer because it has a built in circuit for protection, basically for devices like flashlights that do not have low voltage protection. It probably wont fit anyways, but just don't use it. Short answer, no dont use anything but herb in...

It's a 3400mah cell made by Panasonic. The OEM battery is excellent and performs a smidge better than the Panasonic battery, but it is only around 2250mah. Theoretically speaking, and my use backs up this claim, it lasts longer i.e. more sessions out of a charge. I can get about 2-3 more...

I use an Xtar MC1 and it works well. It holds only one cell, Xtar makes others that hold 2 and 4. It has worked perfectly with no problems, runs off a Micro USB cable and any 5v source, although depending on the source is how long it will take to charge. The OEM battery didnt take too long...

That's interesting. I notice a major difference between the Panasonic and OEM, mainly in how many sessions I get. I am always solo and take about 10 puffs each session. I notice the OEM drop to white after 2 sessions, whereas my 18650b takes 4. Again, not scientific, just observation. We get...

Yeah yeah yeah hate that warranty part....but I get it. There are a ton of crappy, counterfeit cells floating around and they can mess stuff up!

Gotta say, I've gone from the MFLB to the Pax 1 (had two) and now the AA and the only thing I miss is the heat up time. Everything else I love the AA so much. Ive had the AA for about 6 months now and never skipped a beat. I bought a Panasonic NCR18650B and find it to last alot longer than...
