Mine have always come out with the same charge. My charger is only accurate to the 0.1's though.

Usually, I have the opposite problem and they're too big. But if you push the outside edges of it in/out you should be able to get the metal in a position where some of the outer points stick to the other screen. Just a matter of working it to get it in the right place. Good luck!
