Hmm, got kicked out the Magical Butter facebook group right after making a post about my experience with it compared to the crockpot method, stating that the crockpot method was more efficient than multiple runs I had on the MB. I guess they don't like honest feedback/criticism :doh: Oh well...

I decarbed the bud alone in the oven for about an hour @ 230F. I don't think I'd even bother to make my own in a medical state tbh, I'd probably just buy already made edibles :p

I wanna try making a second batch since my first one lacked potency but I'm honestly scared of having the same awful results. It seems I'm not the only MB user having problems with potency. From reading other people's post, it seems 1 oz of bud can yield awesome results with traditional cooking...

Any1 else feel edibles/oil/butter faster when eaten with food? I've notice my oil take effect within 15 min when I've sprinkled it on bread as opposed to 2-4 hours+ when taken alone.

Alright, so I've medicated with my cannaoil about 4 times now and have drank the oil raw. At first, it tasted awful, but was doable. But just like AVB firecrackers, the taste becomes more and more unbearable after a few sessions. I don't use my capsules anymore because I'd have to take like 20+...

I think the lack of potency definitely has to do with the extraction process rather than the quality of buds. I used mid-grade while MrNaturalAZ used some high-grade bud with the same amount of ingredients and it seems he gets to where he needs to be with a single tsp while it takes me 2 TBSP...

ouch, not exactly what I wanted to hear :( Looks like I spent $300 just to fail :( I was planning on doing 2 hours in the MB @ 160F but read the booklet which said 1 hr @ 160 for oil. So cooking it again for an extra hour, just the oil alone (without adding any bud), won't increase potency...

Damn, too bad i didn't see this earlier. I did 230 1hr decarb, 1hr 160 in MB, I used 1 oz buds, 2 cups of coconut oil (the minimum line) and it really isnt potent. I took 6 00 capsules and got to a 3/10 on highness, barely felt anything. Can I unfreeze it then put it back in the MB for another...

Do I throw my cannaoil (coconut oil) in the freezer or fridge? Will either negatively affect potency? I'll probably have to store it for 3-4 months, so I guess the freezer?
