Myko, a quick fix for the leaking where the hose goes in would be to ... unscrew the cap and put duct tape flush up against the hose and inner wall of the cap and make sure the cap is screwed back on tight :) just my :2c:

Well for those of us who are vaporizing non resinous herbs "wink" or are using molasses, getting the baked on gunk out is a bit more important than salvaging, in that case i use extra strong Oven cleaner spray. I coat the baked on bits and let sit for 30 minutes while slightly warm and wash off...
