I thought it would make a difference to me but there was no change whatsoever.
I was hesitant to clean my oven and bottom screen as I didn't want to scratch the oven. I decided I'd leave it and experiment with the new unit and make an informed decision. I honestly thought there would be something about the taste at least that would be different but it was exactly the same. The performance was exactly the same as well.
I am happy after learning that as I don't have to worry about cleaning the oven and bottom screen.

Perhaps your usage patterns are lower than others? Even after just a bunch of sessions if I remove the bottom screen and ISO swab the bottom of that bowl, I always get a soiled q-tip. How much it affects taste and airflow that I do not know, but I do know that I like a clean bowl and Mighty, and i'd rather have that heater bowl clean, than littered with ABV dust. Perhaps it's just my OCD, but like most things in my life, I prefer them squeeky clean.

thanks for the tips. the tough draw resistance is equally present just inhaling on the CU with no mighty unit attached, so i'm going to try giving the CU a solid ISO wash and scrubbing and we'll see how big a difference it makes.
the iso i have in my house is 70% strength, so should i still leave the CU in there for 30 minutes? longer maybe? shaking or poking while it's in the iso?

That sounds fine, I believe S&B says to not leave it in ISO for longer than 30 minutes so you should be fine. It's a good idea to dump it in ISO a short while after you're done using the Mighty as the CU will be warm and the goods fall off easily.

I've just bought a Mighty after a successful year long relationship with my Plenty
that still remains my #1 vaporiser. I had a Pax 1, really didn't liked it coz it burns unevenly, very dry vapor and do combust somehow and I decided for the Plenty.
Now, I've kept it on empty and running for 1.5 battery cycles for burn all residual industrial oils, etc but when I draw it still smells a little bit of plastic although it decreased a little bit -- no weed inside there yet. Ideally you should charge the oven only when it doesn't smell anything coz the grass smell will cover the plastic smell.
I don't wanna breathe any VOCs form plastic that are well known carcinogens...
Anyone has ay idea or tried multiple empty cycles until when it gets cleared?

@organic weed Do burn offs until you see no visible vapors of oils. Then load some abv and do a cycle at full heat setting for 5 to 10 minutes to get rid of the new vape taste and you should be good to go.

Eight days without my Mighty....long week.
Last Tuesday my Mighty stopped charging. Got an ERROR flash when I plugged it in, and after that, nothing but an empty battery icon. Sent it back to Randy at PIU who determined it was the charger, not the Mighty. (If I'd had an extra, I would've figured it out myself.
) Anyway he sent me back my Mighty plus a new charger (it has a dfferent design than my original...the plug is straight, not 90 degree angled.)
It's still morning, so haven't fired it up yet. Nice to take a break (my e Nano got a lot of use this week!) but really missed the big guy. The good news here is that A. my original Mighty is still working, and not dead after six weeks (that was a little depressing!) and B. Randy and PIU again prove they have amazing, fast, friendly service. Love that guy!
Oh and after urging from @Slow Draw McGraw I removed and cleaned under the bowl screen...and honestly, there was nothing under there. No debris, no resin, no residue. Probably won't remove it again for another six weeks, given that six weeks of heavy use didn't seem to warrant removal so far.

@mitchgo61 Y'know if it wasn't for the charger breaking I'd have never sent in my 12xx for replacement. I still think about the good times we had.

Put the sealed jar of ISO containing the cooling unit in a warm water bath for the 30 minutes.
First unit had the battery problem, second and third units all cracked after 2 months of use. Since I started taking my cooling unit off immediately after use I don't have issues with the oven cracking anymore. It is also a lot easier to clean the screen of the CU straight after use as nothing sticks to it.
They use a new charger now as the old ones broke very easily. I still have a spare power charger and car charger on hand though.

You can do that as well but I get lazy and don't want to walk to the kitchen to do it, especially after having a Mighty session

What are the protips for using the Mighty at its best? Has anyone ever tried to list them all? I've attached the liquid pad on the mouth piece as shown by a few. I'll open the mouthpiece and brush it after use to avoid build ups and oven cracking... What else?

I never take my CU off immediately, comparatively, I leave it on until the unit cools. Coming up on 3 1/2 months soon, works like the day I got it.
I have no idea how leaving it on would somehow promote the oven cracking. That doesn't really make any sense..the oven is going to get hot with or without the CU on, so why would it being on somehow crack the oven? The CU doesn't even really connect to the oven either other then where it lines up with the O Ring.
Basically, can you elaborate? You speak with S&B about this?

Just get the Mighty and be done with it. There's no point to the endless cycle of upgrading. I'm so glad I skipped that whole process. I bought one crap vape for $100, then just said screw it and got the Mighty. I could have bought a series of vapes over time, never being satisfied and upgrading to a better unit each time, and would have still ended up with the Mighty anyways. Instead of spending over a thousand dollars to get to that point, I just bypassed the whole upgrade cycle and spent only $400. And I didn't end up with a bunch of unused vapes lying around. Nor did I have to spend countless hours browsing this forum.
Not that you FC regulars aren't wonderful people - you totally are!

The unit cools down incredibly faster if you remove the cooling unit from the heater after use. I have found that by using this technique I don't have any more problems with my heating units cracking.

What part is cracking? I just am kind of confused by the whole thing lol, I leave mine on all the time in an effort to prolong it and it worries me when you say the opposite is prolonging yours...I don't feel like your heater should just crack from usage. You mean the casing? Or like the actual metal bowl part?
Either/or that sucks. Doesn't seem to be a common problem tbh but sucks that it happens. How rough do you treat your units? 4 in such a short time is a bit overkill and I don't think indicative of the product.

I am talking about the standard plastic chipping around the oven in the casing problem.
One unit had the battery problem and went back in January. The next two cracked after around 2 months each and the last unit is still going strong after 3 months of use.
I am extremely careful with my units and treat them very well at all times. I have had really good results with the casing ever since I started taking the cooling unit off after use so that the heating unit can cool down faster.
