v3 + 2 years equal v5, no? G, someones back from the future!

still getting flashing red on my v4 trying to fire kiss gen3 at 7.4...

The kiss Gen 3's work best on the 8, currently that is the only vaporizer that can handle this type of cartridge from our arsenal at 7.4v, at 3.7v 18650 they should work fine.

As for the silver gen 5 persei its actually a gen 3, serial numbers are VX not sure how they can call it a gen 5, but oh well.

When the touch button tops where in development the Kiss Gen Three was never in our thoughts, specialy the new Ti Gr2 coils we developed.

Can i know what batteries you are using and how old they are?

@DieHard so whats the feedback on the herc prototype? rather keep it or use the original?

I am still trying to get the white disc out of the 8 button that covers the copper flathead screw?? :(
I had a hard time getting mine out at first also but after poking it with a tiny screw driver for what seemed like ages it came out and hasn't given me any trouble since

I have been poking it all day yesterday with no luck :(
Yea it wasn't easy for me either I'd poke at it for a bit then hit the top against the palm of my hand a few times to see if it would fall out it wasn't easy but it eventually worked its way out

Im running 18650 yellow jacketed mxjo's(2-3months), 18650 lg he2's(6-8months old), and 18500(2-3months) yellow jacketed mxjo's. All fire my herc fine, with 3.7 rod or 7.4. I got the 7.4 to fire a couple times on my v4 by holding the button and screwing it on, but that was one hit. Would a V2 top fire the gen 3?

I've been trying the last hour and I can still can't get the white thing out

I think I know what the issue is, had the same thing happen to another customer last week, we already are looking for a better solution.

Submit a ticket and I'll have a new button assembly minus pins out to you.

I'm not familiar with these batteries so I can't comment,

The v2 top should be able to fire the Kiss AC without problems.

Good to know the v2 will work! The batteries are at least comparable aw's if not surpassing as far as stats are concerned. The 18500s are rated at 15A and the 18650s at 35A.

I already submitted a ticket. Which assembly are you sending me? White plastic part plus plastic disc? I want to try to figure it out but if I damage something I want to make sure I have a replacement.

Thanks for the tips Elmoe got my 74x all put back together after the soak. When I loaded it up and tried it on my core at 7.4v it would get hot but I can't get any smoke? Do I need to adjust something ? Thanks

The rod placement is key, make sure the white area in between is completely seen.

We do atm we are completely slammed and Sam our CS guy is on sick leave will be back tomorrow. We do apologize.

the white plastic housing with new gold insert and the plastic disc.

The tiny white disc that covers the copper flathead screw won't come out? I tried tapping it but the white disc is stuck and I can not adjust the copper screw?
hmm. Mine is the 2nd gen button assembly, and doesn't have a white disc. the added plastic around the button screw seems to keep it far enough from the screw, but maybe I should replace my assembly? @THC SCIENTIFIC is that an issue, or should I just relax and hit the Herc again?

Not need to replace it, the plastic was added after, you can use a tiny piece of flat rubber band piece and it will make sure no contact us made between the bro cover and the gold insert.

I'm waiting for a new button assembly also. It's been causing inconsistent firing since I got the 8 requiring lots of adjustment, and now it doesn't fire at all. So she's sitting idle.

Is your gold piece inside the button assembly screwed in all the way?

I've got that v2 incomplete chrome persei for my core and as backup in my car and it works great with both the kiss ac and kiss 3.

One weird thing is my kiss 3 get's a low warning when the v2 is hooked up to the core, but it works fine when I use batteries. I just recently got another dual coil I'm going to try.

yes, I've adjusted it every which way. And each time I adjust it, with the bottom pin placed up into the assembly, I look down in it with a magnifier to ensure that the screw is hitting the bottom bin but not deflecting the bottom pin. And then I go the other way and insert the top gold pin down only and do the same. I am getting low readings <6v or no reading at all w voltmeter measured at the top pin with the core.

I'm not the most adept at this stuff but I don't know what else to try but a new button assembly.

Try adjusting it to the bottom pin only and just putting the top back in you shouldent have to remove both I just adjust it to the bottom pin put the top back in and it's good to go
