I really like this bubbler. What type is it?
Their is this tread called cheap bubblers.
The MF's (IKR) = I Know Right!
Anyway they got me addicted to these bubblers on the dhgate.com I have like 6 different ones now and another one coming. My wife has always known me as a worse shopper than a woman! (sorry "Girl's") however it's kind of true!

The part about me!

Thanks for those answers. The gauge is 18 I think so it wouldn't be difficult to find the wire, I think it is quite heat resistant though which is a bit harder to find. I'm a bit worried about detaching wires without instructions and I've also never taken a soldered wire off a circuitboard. I do have a soldering iron though.
Mate, removing the wires from the circuit board is easy. Simply heat up a soldering iron and press the heated tip against the solder joins for the cable on the bottom of the circuit board (very easy to find solder joins, which are exposed when you remove the 2 screws/back cover from the standard Nano dimmer). Once the solder joins heat up enough, the cables will just pull away from the circuit board :)

Putting the digital dimmer on will be babytown frolics for anyone who is capable of this simple soldering maneuver. You wouldn't even need to open the inside of the unit, simply desolder the wires from the dimmer as described above and solder the wires to a new 150w digital dimmer :)

Also, anyone who does this must post videos. Just coz. :p

Hey, does anybody know what type of blue light is in the e-nano?

I'm thinking about switching it for a different colour.

Open basket screen-edge diameter flares out. Can't compress enough to force through Gong top or bottom openings for dome-up insertion. Would someone like to compare the measurements provided below with their own 14mm glass adjust-a-bowl Gong & screens? Thanks!
Those are the right screens I'll post a short video tomorrow to show the technique.

it's neon.

Side Note: One of our FC members and Nano owener (joda glassworks) has started blowing custom stems for E-Nanos, check 'em out.
Disclaimer: I have not tried them, nor can I endorse them but I like the idea.

The new cord (as recently replaced by Andy) is total of 104" (264 cm) and 28" (71 cm +/-) from nano to dimmer. Pretty sure this is what is being offered as replacement cord at Epicvape site. Cord is also much more pliable. Dimmer doesn't move quite as easily as my old one, but still can be moved if bumped. However, don't seem to bump it nearly as much with the added distance to the nano. Don't know if I would consider this optimum (or if I would engineer it the same), but is MUCH better than the original cord IMO. I'm pleasantly surprised how much difference this 10" makes (if my old was same as yours - measured it once but don't remember how far). So much so that I never even think about it anymore, and that has been my only gripe with the nano from the beginning.

I haven't opened mine up (before sending for new cord & tweaks or after), but from pics posted way back in this thread there are crimp connections at the nano end. Looks easy enough to open it up (2 screws on bottom), clip the old cord off and crimp on the new one. So there would be no soldering necessary for full cord replacement, just a little clipping, stripping and crimping. As explicitly stated here and on Epicvape, if you do this yourself you will void the warranty.

If dial bumping/moving is a problem, a rubber band can help. I used one from a lobster claw (heavy, thick, yellow rubber band) with great success. Think one of those blue broccoli rubber bands would work well, too. I used to just leave it right on the cord and slip over the dimmer as needed. Do note, this will wear your numbers off the dial pretty damned fast.

I clear coated my dial with finger nail polish as soon as I got the new one, but don't know how this would hold up with regular rubber band use (haven't used one on new cord at all). Think it does look pretty cool with the high gloss shine on the dial, though!

EDIT: I just looked and can't find the replacement cord on Epicvape anymore, so don't even know if still available. Going to leave rest of this post as is, just in case. Figure Andy will probably be through here at some point with more definite details.

Thanks for all that info. I tried the rubber band but that doesn't enable me to move the dial with any ease. Did you leave the dial on one setting? The replacement cords are on the website, you have to specifically chose enano accessories to find it though. The website says that the new cord is 3m in length which is similar but not exactly the same as your one. I think 28" is probably the minimum improvement that I'm looking for so I'm still thinking about modding it myself.

Thanks also for that info, it's reassuring to know that it's quite easy to do. Unfortunately I've made botched jobs in the past when I get near a soldering iron. Also, my soldering iron is 30w which is possibly on the high side for small jobs like these.

Andy, and anyone who receives an enano in the past week or this week, would it be possible for you to measure the distance between dimmer and the enano please?

I've been sitting on making an order from the website for a week or so simply because I'm international so am going to have to pay the flat $25 shipping charge. I'm trying to get as much (or as little) as possible in one go.

Would like to see it. Keep us posted if you do.

Me too, but I'm also using a cheap soldering iron. A proper Soldering station would make things much easier IMO.

I'm very impressed by the nano. Everything about it has been very thoughtfully designed imo. One of the easiest vapes to operate for sure.

The reason I took a look at the nano was the amount of chatter coming off this thread and by far most of it was very positive. Everything from the price to the operation.

I knew exactly what to do the minute the box arrived. Just opened it up and got started like a pro thanks to this thread and @Caligula excellent advice and videos. Thank you, things were perfect from the first hit.

Andy made good on the trouble I had with my order and all is forgiven. I did notice that Andy is an excellent craftsman in every detail of the nano and I would say it is absolutely perfect done by an artist. I would recommend the nano to anyone and I am sure I will buy another. Pics later of this beautiful nano pals.
AMEN!

I've been loving my Nano since day one. It preforms amazingly, it is very user friendly, and looks pretty and inconspicuous.
Powerful vape, this is a pic of a bowl of flowers (just enough to fill the basket screen, no packing) with the power around 7.25. I think I got another hit this thick and a couple thinner ones before the bowl was done.

Got mine on Sat. Been experimenting since. I am a cheap ol bastard and I appreciate the conservation this devise does. It reminds me of my "one hitter" or "Chillum" Small amount, I mean just barely dist gets some vapor. A corner of a playing card just a schnitzel gets 1-2 hits. It keeps you busy, but you know how that first toke on a vape has all the flavor? Imagine now you get that experience every 2nd hit.

I like the volume of your water piece.
I have a bunch of low budget bubblers that surprising work amazing (IKR)
To get close on the volume of your piece I just add glass.

Normally my dial is set at 6.5 however with more volume I find my sweet spot 7.5. I keep the NANO in the back yard plugged in.

I love this tiny thing!

My nano came in Monday and I have been running it through the ringer. I love this thing!!! Sorry for the short post back to vaping :rockon::science:

I second everything this person said. Could not have put it better myself

No. I pulled the rubber band down on to the cord after each use. I was also able to move the dial a little bit with some rubber band wiggling while it was on the dimmer for fine tuning heat. If it's too tight, put the rubber band on something that stretches it out a bit then put it in a sunny window for an hour or so. Should stretch it just a little bit if you're not using a super high grade rubber band.

I think a regular smaller rubber band doubled would do the job, too. Don't have to immobilize the dimmer dial entirely, just keep it from getting nudged.

My brother does this. Works for him rather well.
