Not sure about the wicking....I grabbed these on @DieHard recommendation. That and the awesome reviews on kidneypuncher (that I have now added to). They wick well for me though, amazingly in fact. You saw the video! Lol. Just dont use stainless steel wicks....taste like shit.
That reminds me...make sure you torch your wire and wick before wrapping or they will taste like shit. Just a quick red and stop.

Sleepin in CA you should start selling rebuild kits. Small lengths of wick and wire. I would buy some titanium wire if you think you will never use the full 16 feet. Same with a length of wick. Technology will advance quicker than you can use the stuff.

@sleepin in ca do I need those little copper stoppers for the rebuild on the kiss cart broke one trying to take it off
Those crimp non resistance wire to resistance (hot) wire. If you remove it.....your cart will run hotter. I do not use them. Not sure what they are for except to prevent transfer of heat to top...or maybe lower resistance?. I just bend my wires 45° before cutting to stop heat transfer.
Unless you plan to mate two different wires...chuck em.
If I can find the wire with the right resistance....yes. So far, no luck unless I want to buy like $1000 minimum. Lmfao.

I am waiting on my ti wire to arrive. When it does I can confirm what voltage it runs at. Right now I am assuming it will be lower voltage (3.7v but I am not promising). It could just as easily be 7.4v. I wont know until I get it as resistance per foot was not listed.
Right now I can do Kanthal rebuilds at 7.4v. Ti rebuilds coming soon. I will update the ad to be more clear.

you know if I could have done it all over I would have just got the Persei. it can do everything you need and run pretty much all of there attachments. The pens you listed will give you decent hits for oil/shatter and they are pretty discrete. As far as carts I'd get a few of the 3.7 kiss

I'll put in a dissenting view from most here. I would highly recommend starting with an Omicron over the Persei. It's a smaller investment, and gives you the chance to see if this vape is right for you. Not that I don't love my Persei, but it's not for everyone. Getting an Omicron will allow you to get to know the w9 system and see if it fits your needs. Also I would stick with the standard 2 ohm carts at the beginning. Kiss carts are great, but they are a little easier to burn out than the regular carts ( just my experience). Also the Omicron is more stealthy than the Persei, if it matters.
Once you decide to make the jump to the flagship Persei, get some AW IMR batteries and Hercules attachment. The Herc works well with all kinds of concentrates if they have any solidity to them. Herc also handles less pure extracts like full melt, hash, etc. better than the Kiss carts. Again, just my opinion.
So, I went to the W9 site and added 2 batteries and a KISS to the shopping cart. Set up an account, applied the code and payed through PayPal. Every time I tried it, it brought me back to a page that said:

I have the OMICRON and OPHOS and those I really love for maintaining medical levels!
If I had to do it all over again this is what I would do:
OPHOS or OMICRON LITE
OMICRON 2.5 (2.0 is on sale!)
PERSEI (so many gizmo's)
Start with the 2.4 carts.
T2 K.I.S.S. carts 3.7 and 5.0's I want someday!

In fact I have a lot of stuff however currently I use a OPHOS with a 2.4 cart. This is how I stretch out my wax.

This spring it's the PERSEI with a SR74 for devastating medication.
Your collection inspired me. I've been vaping flowers for four years with the Arizer EQ and Solo. I have quite a bit of whole cannabis oil that I just put in drinks. As I have been running low on flowers, this would help at this time. I really need to take this step. This more powerful form of medicine may keep me off Phama meds that would really do me harm.
I think I have decided on the Persei as it seems to be a proven product with lots of add ons and a great warranty. Speaking of warranties: There is an ebay seller with the 2013 model for $126.50. A 99.5 rating, but I don't see any indication that he is an authorized seller. Where did you get most of your collection? Believe Puff It Up is in Cali, that might be an option if they price match or have a coupon code.

I purchased my Persei on eBay through user shop 710. All came and was legit along with great shipping prices and price for device itself! Was very happy with seller and purchased a few things from them. Hope that helps..Was the latest version 3 too.
However am not sure if you will get full warrantee if purchase via eBay (am having this problem now as my top burnt out and needs replacing : ( Vaporwarehouse and Planetvape have amazing customer service! Plus with planetvape the price is in canadian dollars so get that little extra for your buck...

@vakedcow just wanted to throw my two cents, just grab the persei/herc 3.7 combo and itll be everything youve ever wanted... even if you dont realize it at first. Went through sooooooo many portables before this, and I cant tell you how amazed i am at this device. Follow instructions to clean it and put it together right, and it roars! Its definitely the most durable vape pen and the versatility of the herc is incredible. Dont waste time/money fussing with anything else unless you really like the kiss cart style setup. I wish I had jumped on the persei/herc combo a long time ago, and i probably wouldve saved a few hundred dollars in pieces and concentrates.
Now, after all that slobbering over the herc, definitely looking at new battery options...
Currently running persei-herc 3.7 with the stock aw imr 18650 1600 and also succesfully running tenergy 18650 2600 as well. Tenergy lasts noticeably longer, possibly performs weaker toward the latter half of the battery, which id say is to be expected. Looking to add a couple more 18650 cells to the mix and wondering if any out there have some preference? I know they stress using the batteries they recommend, but im getting away with a shit tenergy battery atm andlooking to more third party batts.
