This year we go to TAHITI. (3rd trip)
The only draw back is no medicine for 10 days!
Wonderful...I truly envy you. Fiji is one of the few --good-- spots I've never surfed and it's on the list together with Ireland.
I have an Hawaiian friend who hides the medicine in his mouth before passing control, when we go surfing in spots where is not available. Hope I'm not breaking any FC rules here!

Back in the 70's while I lived on the Beach (V-Land) we had the North Shore to ourselves!Wonderful...I truly envy you. Fiji is one of the few --good-- spots I've never surfed and it's on the list together with Ireland.

We only had flowers and no seeds we threw the leaf in the trash.
There was a substance (White Crystals mixed with red hairs) that fell off the flowers.
Today it's called "KIEF"!
This was the 70's.
People in California were still smoking the wrong part of the plant!

The other day I came back from a surf, wetsuit still on, and tried firing-up the LB before realizing that wet hands don't go well with batteries!! Felt a light buzz in my hands
I then used the stock black rubber cap at the bottom of the battery and solved the problem...my 2 cents for the day

I just had two trenches of GIRL SCOUT COOKIES.Awesome!! Shaun is one of my favorite surfers ever: riding the nose in the barrel like he could do is pure style. I have a replica of a Shaun Thompson board shaped by Spider...an insane board for solid surf that allows you to hang 5 while getting slotted
