The abv can end up down there stuck in the HR Edge, you have to blow through either the mp or air hole end to improve.
If a herb extractor have avb at the air intake something I think things are literally going in the wrong direction. I also think blowing into either the bowl or the air intake is never a good idea and is one of a few possible explanations how avb would find its way all the way to the air intake.

I’d definitely avoid a fine grind with this one and would invert it as much as possible to avoid.

Yeah if you're afraid of particles falling through these are sensible measures. But those are nullified by blowing these type of devices in both their holes, so it's important to know you're not making user error before ascribing the problem to the device.

Also be careful with these types in your jacket pocket as lint and such can end up in there

What types? Vapes air intake?

Anyway about a year is all I would expect from this one with top airflow, and eh it’s a 1 year warranty right?

Based on a different device which from the sound of it you haven't been using in the most appropriate manner so to speak?

I was told by a guy at puffitup and HR to do that with the Edge to unclog, all good man not ripping on it but I dislike those airholes. To be clear it clogs and then… I attempted to improve it. The unit is cleaned out and then they said to blow, I’m not an animal blowing through a full vape man!

All things considered, I’m taking a spin with this one. Well, already took the spin

After watching @ShayWhiteGrow pimp slap his around, looks durable. Damn, Scott even dropped the thing.

Safety is an upmost concern of mine also. Really counting on that the air path is better then my “homemade” halogen build. Btw, I dropped and banged that thing around so much and never had a failure.

Every device I own and have kept has a drawback or limitation that I would like to see changed. Hoping that for $200 this one fits in that category too.

Ok cool obviously I don’t have one….. or a clue lol I’m the guy who fills up his vape (jk) and blows in it…. I’ll just stalk reviews, enjoy you new toy!
For what's its worth I blow into it from the back end to unlodge any crumbs

I remember being surprised at how much stuff found its way inside my Volcano!
Trust me;) shit can't get through the balls, maybe just vapor back blow but the balls soak that up too

This vape has a lot going for it.

-Mighty like construction (easy fill, empty)
-Briliant flavour
-Swappaple batteries
-Rugged
-Strong, even extraction, no stirring required.
-Easy air flow (close to Mighty)
-Very competitive price point

Possible down sides

-Difficult or impossible to replace bulb
-Have to touch MP with hands to get access (nightmare for germaphobes or anyone living in a city who don't fancy putting random viruses or bacteria or piss soaked fingers on something going into our mouths)
-Possible future airflow degradation (seems unlikely)
-Possible issues with hot batteries (seems to be a fault. Not sure how common)

This is just what I've gleamed from this thread. I'm not an owner. But I can see that this vape has some serious positives, and traits that are quite unique. If all this vape does is replicate a mighty, except tastier and more powerful, and for considerably less money, then it is a serious vape. The only reason Mighty is still relevant is because it's so bloody easy to use. Take top off, pour weed in, lid on, go. The portable vape landscape is full of fiddly designs which imo don't lend themselves to actual portable use (pulling out your jacket pocket while walking in the park etc).

The downsides are all so far hypothetical.

T-Minus 30 minutes until we get Angus'd. Be sure to consume your current stock of angus before purchasing more.

I still have concerns. This document says:
This certificate of conformity is based on evaluation[obscured] report and documentation are at the licence Holder's[obscured] conformity with all revision of Annex I of Council Directiv[obscured] does not imply assessment of the series-production of th[obscured] to use this certificate in Connection with the EC decla[obscured] Directive.

So I read that as this has not been CE certified? Also can you explain why you chose to use the China Export mark rather than the CE mark?

Did you use a verifying company for your CE certification?

@YLLVAPE OFFICAL I'm just gonna come out and say it, I'm really turned off by the name Angus, the steer raised for good eating. Yeah, it's also an old Scottish name, but that's not how the market is receiving/viewing it.
I will catch the usual shit for being 'pro life' in the meat department, but I've been dealing with those defensive lashes since the 70's. It's been interesting to see those criticisms evolve and dissolve over the decades.

It's bad because I just found out about this vape yesterday. I was really wanting a Bowle but guess this will tide me over until then.

Also, 93 units left as of right now and dropping.

In my defense. I've been away from FC for the last few years. Just got back on recently because I was needing a new portable. And now here I am wanting all these new vapes.

@vapviking I'm also not a fan of the name at all. Perhaps we can come up with a nickname that'll stick. Like the A-Halo or something... I'm sure someone here can get creative.

I spent my first evening with Angus last night and the first thing I'll say, is this device can fuck, and fuck hard.

I'm personally finding performance without the dosing caps to be much better than with them; clouds off the hop rather than whispy pulls as you wait for it to bring the extra metal to temp. I'd imagine batt life would be better without them too as you'd not be wasting the additional energy to heat them. Personally, I find the restriction pretty spot on; I experimented with covering the intake holes some, but I find it milks just fine without doing that. With a brand new set of Molicels, I charged them inside the Angus with a 5V, 2A charger, and it was charged in about an hr and 45 minutes, though it did show as partially charged on brand new batteries. The heatup time feels a tad long at first but once its at temp, it can just power through a bowl. I was way over-doing my bowls at first. Like another user said, if you have it at max temp, you can kill a bowl in 3 pulls probably.

Beyond performance, my initial impressions of the build quality are highly positive: its weighty, sturdy, and inspires all kinds of confidence in the hand. As yet, I'm struggling hard to find any reason why any serious ted enthusiast wouldnt own one at the price of $200. Its a no brainer. Even if bulb replacement ends up being a hassle (and it doesnt sound particularly easy due to internal temp sensor wiring), with a 2k hr bulb life and crazy strong internals for drops, it shouldnt need it for a good long time.

If anyone is on the fence and has specific questions, now's the time. 🤘

EDIT: I pulled the batteries out after back-to-back high temp sessions and they were only slightly warm, easily held in the hand without discomfort.
