@daquirm no problem... I've had stuff get lost in the dreaded *spam filter* before. Lots going on, but building and moving forward just about every day.

Taking a step back for a day or two to possibly collaborate on something completely different. R & D is my vacation time! I'll still be assembling Elites / Classics, but exploring a couple of new ideas. I need a life :ugh:

Is there a fan favorite as far as a wood conditioner goes? Just Organic beeswax maybe? Does wax cause a buildup at all? I'd love something I could apply to help it pop but would like to avoid any waxy or greasy feel. Thanks!

Welcome to FC @greenandbluez , surely Mike will take care of you . Lovely Blends in there, the missing piece to my Classic collection .

Attaboy @Obsessed 2 , way to tag my friend  What's your current roasting tube or stem of choice ?
I'm using the native walnut stem but I've got two short glass stems I keep in a 3 way rotation. Uncanny timing of your query my friend. I just pinged Alan via email this morning just to make sure I haven't fallen through the cracks. On last check he was swamped so I've simply given him time. I am looking forward to his glass-lined roaster. I keep seeing them around...
:mmmm:

Oh, and I'm rocking Alan's iHeat on a Movkin Disguiser. These heaters man, unreal! :science:

@Obsessed 2 thank you! I'm still getting used to the forum format.
Yeah man. No worries. I'm a noob here too bro! I suppose my VAS may disguise it

Good afternoon Classics / Elitists...
Testing and building has become my life. Not sure what takes more effort. I decided to build Classics as I test Elites. Good on both fronts. I am going to post this message on both LB threads. There will be a big batch of Classics going out as soon as I can get them together. I am bringing a big walnut batch to completion over the next few days, but there are spoken for Cherry units being worked on as well. The days of a wide variety of units is over, and I need to put some Walnut and Cherry units on the shelves (both Classics and Elites).

While I pounding away at the perfect Walnut batch, I am very satisfied with testing, as well as the functionality of each unit. There may be changes in the future, but you'll have the option of uploading files, or making slight changes at a future date. In the meantime, I need to decide on profiles. There are 8 slots, but in all reality 8 slots are not really necessary. I will tweak at least two, on TC, one power. I guess I could do 4 and 4, with slight variations. The reality of dry herb vaping is the contents of the tube changes, so you'll need to bump up temp or watts to clear out a bowl, and then lower again for a fresh bowl. Maybe we could do, New to Spent on both TC and power. Simple stuff, just changing watts, power, preheat. The cold ohms will be set, and easily adjusted as well. Right now, after quite a bit of testing, I'm finding .31 or .32 to be optimal, almost across the board. That may change after more testing. This extensive testing may lead to some future design upgrades as well. Stay tuned!

Thankfully, testing and building is going well. A batch of both Classics and Elites will go out by the end of the month. I'm stocked up on just about all parts. Really digging in, getting ready to build some vapes.

Hey All,

The Classic keeps plugging along, no muss, no fuss. Many of the recent advances have slipped over to the Classic, such. Build quality, in particular, has risen quite a bit since the early days. I'm proud to say, the Classic has become quite a classic. It continues to match the Elite in sales.

Production of my Classic happens in parallel with Elite work / research / testing. I've found that to be the best approach, going back on and forth. Keeps things less tedious, and customers happier.

I should be hitting the post office this Friday with a small batch of Classics, along with about a dozen Elites. The cut off point being mid march for the Classics (we're catching up). I will most probably ship Classics one more time in April, after getting the rest of March's and April's orders assembled.

I thank you loyal Classic users / buyers for your patience in the development of the Elite. Once this is all nailed down, production should be smooth sailing, with waiting times kept under 30 days.

You are welcome . Glad you acknowledge it. I think sometimes you get in a good building groove and get caught up not realising you had said you would be shipping so and so.. and people like @daquirm end up maybe waiting abit longer then anticipated. I know or keep track being I send lots of people your way ;) working on a Blend hahahah

Keep up to the good work Mike , please show us some wood porn soon. Both threads loll

I am always blown away by the consistency of the Classic sales. I guess I shouldn't be - simple, effective, under $200, and quite the work of art .

Funny, when I stock up on Walnut, Cherry gets popular, and vice versa. Anyway, the Classic is still the Vapwood bread and butter, and I will continue to build as many Cherry, Maple and Walnut units as possible to keep up with demand. Thankfully, the days of taking 2 hours just to final assemble a unit are way behind me. An uncomplicated final assembly now takes about 30 minutes. Long live the Lil' Bud Classic!

If anybody has any doubt about how committed I am to building Lil' Buds, this morning I got battery mortises cut in 38 units. That's a lot of hand routing. Next, I need to square everything up by hand. The top 11 are Classics. I have another 10 walnut classics pre-assembled. I'm working on a total stock of 50 units.

By row from bottom up

ELITE
Koa - 1 row / 6 units
Figured Waple Blend - 1 row / 4 units
Figured Maple - 2 rows / 6 units
Figured Walnut - 2 rows / 5 units (oops)
Cherry - 3 rows / 6 units
CLASSIC
Figured Maple - 1 row / 3 units
Cherry - 4 rows / 8 units

I will be going to the post office at the beginning of May. My new policy will be to go once per month (except for special orders), most likely during the first week of each month. Whenever I am in my current batch, I'm going to call it once per month to stop and pack up. That is the only way I can handle the workload and continue to make improvements. Right now I am caught up to mid march, and there will be another shipping in early May.

Hello Classic Loyalists

I'm about to assign units to people. When this batch is done, every Classic and Elite order prior to 4/20 will be filled. I have Elites in Cherry, Walnut, Maple, and a couple of Blends and Koa's. I have Walnut, Cherry, and Maple Classics as well. We're looking at the second week of May for the big shipment to go out. Almost totally caught up for the first time in a year and a half.
