Induction powered G43-like vape: could this work?

I've been thinking about this for a while but I have no idea if it could really work.

A bit of back story: I loved my Herborizer but I sold it as I didn't want to deal with a lot of hot glass parts and, most of all, with a power cord going to my bubbler waiting to topple it.
I also sold my induction heater for the Vapcaps as they are not really portable and, while they were excellent for dry use and amazingly fast I could never reproduce the same results I can get through water with a torch and I never use my Vapcaps dry when at home.
I really like the G43 but I don't like the idea of using batteries for a device I'll be using only at home, and while I read about a possible desktop G43 I still don't want anything tethered to my glass (or I'd just buy a Flowerpot).

So here's my idea: a glass heater like the G43 one that instead of a battery powered coil hosts a metallic mass that gets heated by a wall plugged induction coil. No batteries, no wires going to your glass, very fast heating time, no exposed hot stuff that could burn you.
The temperature could be controlled by leaving the coil on for a longer or shorter time similar to how you operate any other unregulated device, electrical or butane powered.
What do you think guys?

I think you will need a lot of power to get instant heatup via induction like 1000w . Maybe if your heater is low mass steel foil coil similar to those on carlighters than maybe it could work.
Also induction coil will get hot cause of heat radiated/conducted form the heater and you will have to figure out cooling for it .
This doesnt happen with dynvap because of its low mass and that it is inserted in the heater for a short period of time.

I think you'll need wires in the unit to do that

A metal rod in the centre of the glass, where Bud uses a glass rod in the G43, surrounded by glass beads could work. Having made my own T53 :) (a T shape piece of glass with a 5mm glass rod for the coil, surrounded by glass beads in the style of the G43 but with the wires in the side arm and 18mm male and female connectors on the top and bottom) the beads take a while to soak up the heat and get up to temp so I'm guessing induction will be very quick to heat the rod but it will take a while for the glass beads to heat up too.

Checkout one of the models can read vapcaps temp via IR module.

That's a very good point, I honestly have no idea how much metallic mass you would need to hold the temperature enough time to allow vaporization. I was thinking about how to mimic my Vapcap usage (single hit through a bubbler) so maybe it could be possible to do this without a ton of power.

That's another thing I had not considered as my limited experience with Vapcap heaters thought me that the coils doesn't get very hot.
Again, I think it really depends on how long you would need to power it to heat the metallic mass enough.

I was thinking about an unregulated or "manual" device, more like a Milaana or a Lotus than like a Flowerpot.
