Zepto| The World's First Credit Card Vaporizer

VapinVentor

Where vaporizers are re-invented!
Manufacturer
I’m sure you all at FC have come across companies claiming to be the next innovators in vaping; when in reality they don’t bring true innovation to the table. If you were ever going to take the time out of your day to read a post on FC, this would be the one!

We are VapinVentors; where vaporizers are re-invented! We're a start-up company based in New York and we are focused on propelling the Vaping industry into the future! We are devoted to making the most convenient and most advanced vaporizers while incorporating the latest technology and premium medical grade materials! In fact, we are in the process of designing a revolutionary glass-heating technology that has never been used in vaping before! (Another exciting invention we absolutely cannot wait to unveil!)

With the popularity and use of vaporizers growing exceedingly over the last couple of years, its safe to say that vaping is here to stay. The vaporizers presently available to us all have the same basic look, feel, function and even similar mass-produced parts, each with different logos slapped onto them. Upon realizing that vaporizers have become a huge part of our daily lives, we began to notice all the shortcomings of existing vapes. We set out on a journey to integrate vaping into our lives on a level never seen before!

We’re proud to introduce to you ZEPTO, a premium vaporizer intricately designed for luxury feel and utmost convenience. Its name is derived from a metric prefix pertaining to microscopically small measurements. So, just like your typical “micro” and “nano” ZEPTO is small, 0.000000000000000000001 small, and unlike other “nano” vaporizers, ZEPTO stays true to its name at 0.177 inches (4.5mm) thin and credit card dimensions 3.370 ×2.125 inches (85.60 × 53.98 mm).

Zepto's engineering is complete and a prototype is on its way!

Now check out all the unique and advanced features incorporated into ZEPTO!!!

  • The number one feature is the shape and size - just like a Credit Card.
  • ZEPTO is miraculously .177 Inches (4.5mm) thin
  • The edges are impeccably tapered to give ZEPTO an even slimmer look and easy entry into your wallet.
  • Introducing never before seen glass-heating technology, reaching optimal temperature to preserve flavor
  • Touch activation! Which will not only act as a beautiful illuminated sensor to display when the device is turned on and heating, but it will also prevent accidental activation; an ongoing problem in many vaporizers we see today.
  • The airways are easy-to-clean: top magnetically connects so it comes on and off with ease.
  • Interchangeable heating elements! Gives you the option of using glass or ceramic heating elements , or standard coils.
  • Long lasting and powerful battery.
  • Wireless charging!

Designed for ultimate convenience and portability, Zepto will be a next-generation vaporizer so small that it fits in your wallet. Overall, the vaporizer combines stealthy capabilities with a beautiful design so it's easily concealed when necessary yet its attractiveness begs to be shown off.

ZEPTO is currently being implemented for use with oil concentrates. We are working fast on creating the next models; one of which will work with e-liquid and one model that will focus on dry herb.

We’re looking forward to receiving feedback from the community about their thoughts and comments.

We will be crowd-funding ZEPTO within the next couple of months so stick around to see more exciting news every week. We are always open to advice, suggestions and/or tips as this will be our first time undergoing such a journey; a journey we're taking all of you along with as well! To find out more about ZEPTO, and the revolutionary glass-heating technology stay connected by liking our page on facebook, following us on twitter & instagram, and subscribing at ZeptoVape.com!

Great Scott!
Didn't even read it all yet, but its not the smallest. Vapor genie coil and the ubie come to mind. Not trying to be negative, but its not the smallest. Smallest electronic perhaps?

How long until any version is released really? Only a wax prototype is coming? That would mean a long way from production to me... Also crowdfunding how? Seems they're all rather unwelcoming to this type of project now

...
the revolutionary glass-heating technology...

Unsure how the actual vaping is any different here really, glass heater? So its like an Ascent or others? But can be ceramic or another coil? So just conduction (not like glass bowl Firefly convection?) heating still like "all other vapes" referring to Chinese rebrands of concetrate pens etc? Maybe things like Titan and Viva too? There's a lot more out there than that...

Having said that, the form factor surely is unique and intriguing, reminds me of that other one in the candidates section from a while ago that still hasn't materialized, the flat bowl conduction design, with flip up mouthpiece there. Could be super stealth and easy to palm of course, but.... "Show some ID... Wallet sure smells like weed, what's that in there?"...

I got super excited thinking we could order this now. :bang: So what are we looking at time wise before a dry herb version prototype? Will it be conduction or convection or a mix? And yeah good luck on the crowd funding i am unaware of any that will allow vaporizers anymore. I would love to see this hit the market tho.

Some really big claims here… For what sounds like another conduction vaporizer which will only do oils for starters… Well, also, it's not smaller overall than many oil vapes, just shorter. And let's not forget the Grasshopper. I really don't see any groundbreaking features… Next!

A vape that could be a Silver Palm Leaf equivalent, very interesting.... how long for the dry herb version to be developed?
Palm leaf is a good example! But it's like a caveman device in comparison; the technology packed into ZeptO is practically unimaginable, especially considering the size! Ultimately the dry herb model will be available at the same time as the e-liquid and oil concentrate models. Both the e-liquid model & dry herb model are currently in development and we are shooting to release all three models in early 2016!

You do present a good point but both Vapor genie and Ubi are non-electronic vapes, so yea it is the smallest/ thinnest eletronic vaporizer!

We are new here at FC, so any suggestions are appreciated!

There have been several crowdfunding campaigns for vaporizers relatively recently (just to name a few grasshopper, evoke, kandypens).

As for crowd-funding, if it comes down to it, the E-liquid model will be the face of this project, but currently the model with the most progress and that is more oriented towards this forum is the oil concentrate model.

We have looked into crowdfundimg and have been in contact with indiegogo, so far everything looks like smooth sailing.

We are aiming for distribution in the early months of 2016!

The concept of vaporzing itself is very limited to either conduction or convection. With such a small device, convection is a little more complicated so we are sticking with conduction. Currently most if not all vaporizers that use convection for oil concentrates are vaporizers that were originally designed solely for dry herb and were later adapted to oils.

All oil concentrate vapes are technically conduction. But when bringing up conduction and convection, these terms are usually referring to the way dry herb chambers are heated. In this case we are focusing on concentrates.

Whats different in Zepto is you have the option of using our glass heating element which has been developed under wraps, and will be unveiled very soon. We can only reveal so much in our first blog post but rest assured, its nothing that anyone has ever seen before in vaping!!

(Its not like the design of firefly or ascent)

As for the wallet smelling:

I'm an avid vaper myself, and don't particularly recall my oil concentrate vape smelling much at all when not in use. With that said, we have taken this all into consideration, and have designed Zepto to be air tight when the atomizer chamber is closed and not in use!

Thanks for all your comments and I hope we were able to answer all of your questions!

Conduction or convection?
Conduction or convection typically refers to the way a dry herb chamber is heated. In this case, with oil concentrates, it's usually conduction since the coil is in direct contact with the oils. So yes this can be considered conduction. If you are referring to the dry herb model, it will be conduction but the chamber will heat up just enough to vaporize your herb without combusting it!

We're really glad to hear your excitement about Zepto! We're going to do everything in our power to get this vaporizer into your hands as soon as possible but we are aiming for early 2016! The oil concentrate model will have a replaceable atomizer comparable to existing vapes but with this one, you have the option of choosing between a basic nichrome coil, a ceramic heating element or our newly developed clear glass heating element! Thank you for your comment and stay updated with us! We're unveiling the glass heating element next week!

First off, Zepto, I strongly suggest that you contact the mods here before you post any further so that you can get a "manufacturers" membership.

Secondly, rather than posting 5 separate posts back to back, just integrate them all into one post. You can use "edit" to do this.

Glad to see you now certified, sounds solid. However being a concentrate model, then it really is outside of my interest personally. Can't speak to their use much at all.

As far dry herbs it will be interesting to see what happens regarding form factor, but it seems like Zepto won't be for me given the technology used and the material in focus.

Good luck!

My wallet resides in my back pant pocket, and acquires a flattened contour over a short period of time ...perhaps presenting the Zepto as being able to fit in your wallet is for demonstrating size only, and not really meant to be safely carried this way???

i would stay away from publicizing an early 2016 launch date.
In my opinion, all the early hype can hurt a business as much as help. I know The Grasshopper, Evoke and others are losing sales because they can't hit water if they fell out a boat when it comes to hitting dates they set. I know as a business you can't control everything but the minute you announce (insert date here) and you don't hit that goal, the public will let you know it very quickly and cause you to lose future sales and start giving refunds.

Even grasshoppers have something to teach us, eh? ;)

Yeah, missing dates is not good. Missing dates promised to crowdfunding backers is worse. I really don't see how they could get this to market that quickly given the campaign hasn't even started yet. That's a four to six month time frame from crowdfunding to release. We've never seen anyone do that around here. Even if they already have a working prototype, it only takes one hiccup in the manufacturing process to delay things months. I'd love to see us proven wrong, though! I would suggest holding off on any release dates, even if vague at this point, unless they are three years out.

Do they even have funding even set up?

How is the air flow? I assume it has a restricted draw and is meant more for "sipping" than big hits.

As the industry and technologies advance, assume nothing ...and there's nothing wrong with a little (subjective & relative) draw restriction, no matter what the medium:2c::2c:. Big (subjective) hits aren't necessary to get the job done either. If they are, one definitely needs to lower their tolerance.
