Wireless E-Nail

Well, after all my struggles I finally got my enail set up working well with a nice quartz banger (still looking for affordable nail that works), so I'm fully converted and torch free pretty much. I was scouring the net, bullsh*tting while dabbing some nice Jumpman clear wax, and stumbled across this......

Anybody seen this? Used it?

It looks kind of convenient actually, just for the way my house is set up and where I can dab at. I'm not about to spend that much now but still.....I'm intrigued.

There's another thread on it here where I posted my thoughts. Basically barring specific use cases, it's a huge overpriced gimmick and what they're selling now looks more like a prototype than something serious and production ready. I think if a well financed tech start-up took it on it might be possible to do it well but "wireless" power tech is still immature. True wireless power transfer, without any contact, has passed proof of concept so should be available in X number of years.

A good upgrade down the road would be the Hex-Nail, works especially well with D-Nail Halo and CCA710 Liger both of which are great upgrade choices to consider down the road. I've been seeing both nails pop up in the classifieds lately so maybe you can find a deal there.

Gimmick.

It just uses induction rather than a hard wire. Offers zero advantage over a standard e-nail except that if you trip over the enail power cord, maybe you won't drag the rig down with it. Basically it adds complexity with no appreciable gain in functionality.

I have no intention of buying one but I can honestly see the use of that.....just not in such early stages with a cumbersome device
