Why do people love Dynavaps so much ?

I was thinking about getting a non fully electronic vape, I've never had one, and I was kinda hesitating between the Lotus and Dynavap M7 + The Wand but since I haven't had the occasion to try either of them, I don't really know what to expect ;

What is so good about the Dynavap? I see it praised everywhere, and I’m kind of torn between that or maybe , the Lotus, seems cleaner and to hit harder ?

I’ve got a pretty high THC tolerance, so I’m not just looking for something light — I want something that can actually hit hard and give satisfying sessions. Between the Dynavap + Wand or , the Lotus, , which one would actually make the most sense for someone like me who’s into strong effects, tasty hits, and a nice ritual sesh a bit like smoking was . More in the moment not mechanical mindless l like a Mighty .

Also, is the Wand actually good for Dabs and most importantly, can I vape pure Hash like dry sift in the cups for Dabs if I clean it well after each sesh or it would not work ?

I don't mind a learning curve as long as I dont break my device I can see that as more amusing than a hassle I guess .

Not everyone likes DV, and there are a lot of alternatives now in that style, that use more of the pure convection like Lotus, or hybrid...

I owe a lot of my giving up smoking to my DV, but I haven't used it in over 4 years now. The lotus on the other have comes out very regularly. You can, with some practice, totally tailor each hit the way you want. You'll love the ritual if you smoked pipes or bongs.

I was a dv user for years. I really enjoy the hotstick format. These days I use desktops and a Tinymight mostly but I have a Tempest and Tornado for the high ritual chill sessions with friends. I believe the only induction heater that works with the Lotus is the Inductor so short of getting one of those you would be torching the Lotus if that matters. With the DV you could choose to use the wand, and the wand works well with a lot of the current generation of hot sticks. I have never tried a Lotus but many people here swear by them.

Plus for load size the DV is about 50mg half bowl, 100mg full bowl. That might not be enough for you? The new hot sticks have bowl capacities up to 200-300mg and can clear them in a single heatup or single pull if thats what you prefer while also being some of the best microdosers out there if you just want a small lift or want to experiment with tolerance management.

I highly prefer the vapman to the DV, especially the vapman click.
The DV never did it for me.

It pulled people in by being incredibly cheap (around $30-$40 when it first came out), easy to use, decent flavor, and smoke-like experience with the conduction.

It kept people around through variety, modularity, and people's addictions to spending money.

SO taking into account that I already have quite a high tolerance, I think Dynavaps are Ugly and I dont mind a bit of a learning curve, the lotus would be a good option for a Torch vape ?

Is its case handy not to break the Sherlock to go outside like camping and no battery issue ?
Or is it a better vapor to use inside ?

I'd love something I could go camping with for like a week and not care about battery life
And also something with a nice ritual and potent vapour to fully quit any form of combustion

Im not sure about the VapMan, I want a longer cooling air path

Very interesting, never heard of the Inductor !
And concerbning the Wand, how good is it by itself , can you vape DrySift or only Dabs with it ? Does it do it well ?

I hesistate lol cause I'm very attracted towards the Lotus and it seems better for ME , though the Dyna and the Wand seem to make more financial sense lmao

The case is pretty sturdy, I think you'd be fine with normal care. You could also get a Brick. They're pretty sturdy and an SBL Junior, Doug's Nova, or Dreamwood Dobby are built to protect the glass for portability. Retrosteam vapes are mostly wood and metal. Bricks kick ass, but they are direct-heated butane-driven vapes.

If you can get a good deal, I'd try the Dynavap and Wand anyhow. I have been using them daily for years and I still enjoy them. Maybe you would too. You can get a quick, punchy, conduction high to add a little stoniness to your convection sessions.

It's this for me too. The 2018 DV is still a really amazing device, with the new M7 being solid (but not as good as my 2018). It's also extremely small if you get the basic version, and offers stem loading which many people enjoy.

@Akàçìa In your price range and needs, I'd instead strongly recommend the BFG Fusion 2.0. Bigger capacity, better for a higher tolerance, and just a more polished experience all around. I've been a big fan of the BFG linup since the first Dani, which retired my dynavaps, and the Fusion 2.0 is leagues above the Dani.

The lotus totally rules, too, but I think you might be happier with a heavy hitting "hot stick with a click" style of device right now. The only caveat is you mentioned the wand, and I think the Fusion 2.0 performs best with a torch lighter. I made a DIY induction heater that definitely works with it, but it's still nicer to use a good small 2 or 3 jet torch.

I have an m+ that comes out as regularly as my minivap and zx. But, I like the conduction heavy experience every now and again. That and it's great when im in a hurry and need to get medicated quickly as well as being a good vape when medicine gets low

I have a dynavap but I never figured out what the trick was to making it work well. I tried a torch and the heating thing that they sell for it - but to me it was very underwhelming. I know others love them and I will agree it was probably user error but I just want to put in some flower and go - not fiddle around with the dynavap all the time. I much prefer my battery ones (solo 3, mighty, and even my lobo) over the dynavap.

DynaVap is conduction small load and the Lotus is convection with a larger chamber. The glass hook with the lotus will allow for more cooling. I prefer the convection high generally speaking and suggest you go in that direction. But for quitting smoking conduction might make the transition easier. I’d take a vapman over a dynavap but both are good.
