Where to source vaporiser heating elements?

If i were interested in making my own vaporiser, is there a known supplier i could go to for the vaporisers elements?

basically i am wondering where the vaporiser manufactures source their heating elements, is there a go to manufacturer? or do they all use different ones?

There are a few threads on FC that discuss DIY vapes. Search DIY Bulli Vaporizer. There's definitely a few posts on vaporents in reddit where people have used soldering iron heating elements or halogen bulbs.

I think the heating element from the LSV is just the heating element from a soldering iron.

As far as parts go, you have to be creative and resourceful, but some of the components you may need can be found in everyday items.

Hakko (sp?) and Radio Shack both make soldering irons with the Ceramic Heating element.

In fact I bought the Radio Shack Soldering Iron with the same intentions (25 watts and looks identical to the 7th Floor HE) , I ended up using it like a herb iron right before making the transition to exclusive Vaporization..

Sometime down the road I'd like to start a couple DIY Vape projects.

I never thought I'd get so obsessed with Vaporization, but it is inevitable.

You didn't say if you are trying to make a desktop or a portable?

Like others have said, soldering irons are a good place to start. I went with a cartridge heater for my diy desktop. I found lab glass to be much cheaper than what most manufacturers charge for glass.

Depends on what you want to build!

Anything from a super cheap resistor to a 3D print head cartridge heater or a ceramic rod heater!
You can also wind your own using NiChrome wire.

It all boils down to what you are trying to achieve and what your build and electronics skills are.
