Why does that look suspiciously like a VapeFiend 'Storm Pen' ?Isn't the X-max Pro V2 considered a pen vape?
I'm not sure what that means, but I know the VapeFiend video bangs on about how it is their own design, having spent time researching, designing and putting together their own vaperiser. There are folks who consider the Storm and X-Max Pro v2 kissing cousins.
I'm trying very hard to avoid VAS, plus I don't think I want a plastic/rubber mouthpiece vaporiser, or one that has the oven so close to mouthpiece.I've been enjoying the unit quite a bit.
The Storm was made by the company that makes the X-Max. It was built to Vapefiend's specs and differed from the original X-Max in several respects, including an isolated vapor path. The mouthpiece bowl interface was also changed from a plate with 5 tiny holes (that immediately clogged up), to a screen, allowing much better performance. The X-Max was then changed by the manufacturer to include some of the Storm's features, making the two very similar once again.I'm not sure what that means, but I know the VapeFiend video bangs on about how it is their own design, having spent time researching, designing and putting together their own vaperiser.
Sounds a bit fishy to me!
I wasn't , they weren't, they were observations, having done my homework and watched the videos. I guess something has been lost in translation, sorry if you were offended, certainly wasn't my intention. I hope you are enjoying which ever one it is you have. All of this info is in the Storm thread, so I suggest that in the future you do your homework before making any derogatory posts.
"Fishy" was your description about Vapefiend's claim of researching and designing a vaporizer. He did research. He liked the X-Max. He did come up with enough functional changes for it to be a different model than the X-Max. The fact that the X-Max was then also changed to improve that design doesn't change that. They also reduced the on/off clicks from 5 to 3, so they're still clearly different models.I wasn't , they weren't, they were observations, having done my homework and watched the videos. Not very well it seems.having done my homework
Yes it's clear that you didn't know the history of these two models, and that's why your 1st two posts in the thread were out of line. If you're going to cast doubt on a manufacturer's claims, especially one who participates on the forum, please be sure to get your facts straight first.I'm not sure what that means
err, no it wasn't. Fishy was my description of 'Kissing Cousins'. As I stated, I don't understand what that means but it sounds fishy!"Fishy" was your description about Vapefiend's claim of researching and designing a vaporizer.

was my thoughtI just realized that Kissing Cousins isn't an insult! Always thought it was like calling some one a *insert family member here* fucker. Always learning something new on FC
OT:
It seems to me like OP is a bit confused by the sometimes overlapping vaporizer and e-cig lingo.
A box style e-cig is something else than a box style vape. If you could clarify, @kerrydee, it would be easier to give a good answer
No worries, glad you had such a laugh at my expense!Again - sorry for the mix up and thanks for the chuckles!
I've been banned from a Halo server once for saying in live chat 'hang on, just rolling a fag'.asked one of my coworkers about a 'fag'.
I see you are in Scandinavia, and have the same concept to that phrases meaning as us Brits. I'm not sure how many countries would consider that term to not be derogatory, but I can't imagine it to be many. I'm assuming His_Highness is in USA. The mind boggles how that term is not considered an insult in the USA if that's the case. Wiki and other sites describe it as being members of family who kiss, no mention of manufacturers who make similar products.I just realized that Kissing Cousins isn't an insult! Always thought it was like calling some one a *insert family member here* fucker.
