What's the Difference between Hash Rosin and Rosin

Four years ago, with legalization in first one and now three adjacent states(and a country, Canada, though I never carry across the border any more), I began to experiment with concentrates along with all the wonderful flower. I like trying new things and have tried just about every cannabis product out there. After four years, my concentrate top preference has become rosin, though there are outstanding resins, budders, sugars and shatters that I also enjoy. But I'm confused by the terminology. I understand that budder, resin, sugar, shatter, etc. are all made using chemical extractive methods while rosin is slightly heated and pressed out of the flower without use of chemicals. But what is the difference between rosin and hash rosin? I've had some superlative--best in 50 plus years of cannabis use!--grams of both that were impossible to distinguish based on texture, color, or taste. Could someone explain? Thanks.
