I don't grow unfortunately but when I get trim it's:
a) made into BHO if it's decent quality
or
b) made into bubble hash if it's lower quality or If I have a shit ton of it (like pounds)
or
c) if it's low quality, either trash it or throw it in the bubble bags (can make bubble with ice/water or dry sift with some dry ice) and then make edibles.

Wonder why low quality would be better suited for ice extraction ?
Since I suppose you would get more return with bho vs bubble considering a low quality trim.
Anyway what I do with trim is : bubble hash or canna-butter !

Basically just the cost of extraction. If you already have bubble bags the only thing you need to buy is ice. With BHO you need a can of tane/oz, which adds up, especially if you're getting low yields (<5%). Also personally, I vape BHO for the taste; something you won't get with lower quality trim. If the goal is edibles then I bubble/dry sift to cut down on the volume of material; then if I feel if it needs to be further refined I'll do a BHO/ethanol/iso run.
