Volcano bag vs whip

Hi I run my volcano on 180ºc with the whip and I'm find but I've started to use the baloons but it seems to be soo much harsher on my throat and I'm always choking. I enjoy the baloons they're fun but I don't like coughing all the time when I swap to the whip the coughing goes and I can vape normally ... I've check the air filter it's clean I've cleaned the chamber and the unit I don't understand why the baloon rips are like being throat punched and the whip doesn't at the same temp? ... I've tried leaving the baloon to cool down but still throat punching and I even went down to 170ºc and still throat punching any ideas what it could be ?

Hey, welcome to FC, to me it is pretty simple really... Presumably you are using the same amount in the bowl, but the bag is pumping up filling for you, so then when you inhale from the bag you are actually taking in much more potent vapor, more of it that is more dense, compared to when you are just taking one hit through the whip... Does that make sense? Try loading less for a bag filling

Yeah man that made sense ill try it and I realised not too open my mouth as wide so I don't let no air in lol that helped alot lol ... thanks for the reply!

If a Volcano bag is harsh in my case that's usually because I loaded too much herb and the vapor is too dense. It's my favorite vape but long ago I started to use exclusively XL bags. This way the vapor is more diluted, extraction is better and I'm done using only one bag per load (better flavor), and I don't cough.
