Vapwood Timber Elite vs P80

Hi new FC!

It's a pleasure to be here, I typically post on r/vaporents over at reddit but always lurked at old FC.

I just wanted to know if anyone had any opinions on the Vapwood Timber Elite compared to the Tetra P80?

I know not many people own both but I'd like to get opinions from those that have tried both if there's anyone out there that has, or just an opinion on this dilemma of mine in general.

I'm looking for an at home portable, on demand convection vape and was considering the Tetra P80 as I've seen nothing but good reviews for it and the TetraX and older Tubo models. I also like the quirky look it has going for itself, so I was waiting for the next drop. Then... I stumbled upon the Vapwood Timber Elite and boy does it look sleek! Albeit, a bit tall, but I'm planning to use it as a home portable anyway so no worries. The only trouble was that I could not find much information about it on reddit and not too many recent posts on old FC.

So the main differences I noted so far
  1. Different heaters - the P80 has borosilicate glass tubes with SS coils? whereas the Timber Elite has a heater made of SS mesh.
  2. Form factor - the P80 is short and thick whereas the Timber Elite looks tall and sleek
  3. Mouthpiece - P80 takes 18mm male connections on a female ground glass joint and unsure about the Timber Elite (14mm female wood?)
  4. Tetra uses a P80 mod whilst the Timber uses a DNA 75 mod.
Note: I'm not interested in the Tiny Might

Cheers.

Timber is also 18mm btw. And Tetra offers more usage possibilities, cruise + tstep, and all the stem options and accessories... Might be worth looking into Splinter and iHeat too, there you would need a separate mod (configured for temp control)
