Hello everybody! Since @vapormachina is very busy i´m creating this thread.

VapOS

The VapOS is an unregulated low cost butane vape, designed to bring vaporization to people who can´t afford it, or people who want a hard-to-break all-round vape. It is made of 316L SS and it doesn´t have any complex part.

It has 5 parts: The cap, the stem, the screen, the condenser, and the cooling unit. (And one o´ring).

The vapOS is easy to assemble: The cooling unit is inserted into the condenser, and the condenser is fitted with the O-ring. This assembly is inserted into the Stem, and at the top, the grid is inserted, which will rest on the S at the top of the cooling unit. Finally, we put the cap.

The price varies according to the version we buy. There are two main versions: the ball version, which many of you already know how it works, for 29€, and the screen version, for 33€. These only differ in the content of the cap, and it can be changed.

The device also comes with a brush, spare o´rings, and a mini silicon bong adapter.

--------

The ball version includes 2mm rubi balls, a couple of screens and a washer to keep them all in place. It is simple and clean, and it works like a TA or a Stunner. The VapOS includes 2mm balls because the walls are thick enough to avoid termal stress on the balls and keep them hot.

The screen version comes with screens (obviously) and washers, forming a screen matrix. The screens are thick, totally removable, customizable, and easy to clean. In my opinion, this version is more interesting, since we have seen many ball vaporizers. Besides, it's easier to clean.

It has different configurations:

The standard config alternates between a grid and a washer, being a basic configuration. I think this is the best configuration if you like DTL pufs with an open airflow.

But we can also use it without washers to increase the restriction in the airflow, and speed up the heating time a little. This version is good if you like to alternate between DTL and MTL pufs.

These are the 2 main configurations, but the user can make his own configs. For example: using 2 washers between screens to improve the airflow, or 2 screens between washers to reduce the airflow.
[it is advisable to use a couple of washer at the end of the config to separate the last screen a little from the rest. This avoid any hot spots, in case you have any]

---------------

The chamber is adjustable since you can move the condenser, but, in the standard position it can hold around 0,15g. The main profile is convection, but it can used as a hybrid vape since you just need to aim lower with the torch.
I can assure you that the vapor if this device is smooth as hell and it provides a great flavor as well. And it hits like a high end vape.

This is a butane vape, and it can be used with an IH too (you need a powerful IH like the Flare, which takes around 50-60 secs, or the Inductor) but @vapormachina has created an adapter to uise it with a 20mm PID coil. It is called:

The Crucible

As I said, the crucible is a PID coil adapter. It is made of Steel and the base is made of aluminium.

It is designed to leave the PID on for long periods of time (since it needs a few minutes to reach the temperature). Once hot, we can insert the vaporizer whenever we want and wait from 40 seconds to a minute until it is ready (les time for reheats).

We can also leave the cap inside the crucible to use it as a Log, always having the heating element ready.

The crucible also works with other vaporizers:

Vaponic, Anvil, Tempest, Pipe X, Dynavap (With armored cap) or vaphit. (I guess the simrell vape too).

I don´t know if the TA/Stunner can be use don it, but ther4e is another adapter head which hold devices with bigger diameter: Rockets, convector xl (i think it can hold the new supercapacitor cap), hyperdyn (with FMJ or THC), the Fusion 2, the Tornado, the Elev8r or any Dani device.

You can get the aluminium base of the Crucible for 19€ and each adapter head for 15€ (being 34€ if you don´t need both adapters).

--------------------------

Right now you can get it talking with @vapormachina on Telegram, Instagram or Twitter (I don´t know if he will be very active here…He has the same name on all social media) and it will be on Aliexpress too, to be easier to get on different countries.
Price summary:
  • -VapOS with balls: 29€
  • -VapOS with screens: 33€
  • -Screen pack: 12€
  • -Crucible Aluminium Base: 19€
  • -Crucible Standard adapter: 15€
  • -Crucible Bigger adapter: 15€

Looks very cool and the prices make it really accessible.

It also kinda looks like one of those collapsible metal batons for used for self-defense. 😂

Cross marketing? 🙃 "Sit and chill with VapOs.... or beat someone senseless! Your choice!"

I kid... I kid... 😂

thanks a lot @kokolokokolokon you are the king!
this would be impossible without you

Thanks to all you guys for the good words. I think you will appreciate the Crucible system, the idea is to have the cap always ready with a well stabilized temperature and the stem always cool a part from this, so you insert it in the heater when ready and let's go:evil:

There are a lot of butane vapes that you can heat with electronics, but all of them have the same problem, the heat contamination from the cap to the stem. They try to solve this with fast and powerful heating systems or reducing the mass and making it more efficient, but we decided to go the other way. The idea is to have a desktop system with a butane stem style, with a big cap and a lot of mass and no concessions to efficiency or heating speed, so we can always go with maximum performance.

If you have a big cap with a lot of mass in a slow heating system and your stem is always ready and cool on the other hand, you can reach 100% of the flavor and cooling everytime. Something more close with a Log vape. In addiction if you heat with a classic coil instead of induction heating the flavor is a bit better, more similar with the lighter experience

Of course you can use your vapOS with butane, but you will need a good lighter and power, the heating time is similar with Anvil or Tempest, but now you have a very thick wall so you can heat with a very big torch, in this case we'll see heating times around 15-20s (something similar with Danivapes or TA). With a normal one flame lighter the heating can take around 40-50s. In addiction if you heat with torch you will have more control over the conduction/convection profile (a bit more precise than other butane devices thanks to the heater very close to the chamber)

You can also make your own stem profiles. This is a very simple device, three tubes with universal measures, so you can use it with balls, small intercoolers or any other system, we plan to offer a lot of combinations. The condenser has a 5mm inner diameter so you can use your dynavap/simrell intercoolers here. In the future there will also be more options with shorter stems and 8mm connection tip systems, but for the moment we are focused on the unibody design (I really hate when you retire the dynavap cap and the tip comes inside:bang:)

We plan to offer open source designs, the original idea on this device was focused on Latam markets and places in where is difficult to import spare parts or fancy products. The key is to be easy for repair by yourself, also more reliable and robust. The small screen has universal measure (dynavap 8mm ccd), the same with heating screens (10mm) and the tubes (10 and 12mm), so you can repair it in a local blacksmith or with ironmongery parts. And we have some draws if you want to make the entire vapOS on your own. There are no patents here or things like that, we plan to offer this cheap enough for not being necessary to make this at home if you don't want, but the idea is to have a very open design more close to a DIY project than to a typical vape company with proprietary parts. Our telegram community helped a lot in this project so this is a device made from users for users:)
(I'm not sure if this is correctly said in English:lmao:)

You will not believe it but I work in security and I made some previous models with hidden self defense tools:lol:

this one had a hidden cut shape in the loading chamber for using it as a chest punch if you retire the cap:p
I also made some other kinda inventions in this way

I applaud the idea of making your product open source.

Sadly, imgbb has blocked the images with a message to upgrade to pro... Do you think we could get those images hosted again somewhere else please?
oh sorry, it was posted in the same way as the other two:hmm:

IMG-6395.jpg

this was only a personalized stem, we tested combinations with balls, simrell intercoolers, pills, ceramic pieces, etc. The idea is to have an opened washer and screen system in where you can hold every option

We also made some solid stems without disassembly needing for people with reduced mobility and now we are testing sleeves and other options for isolate, but its a very simple system, universal 10mm tube, very easy for covering or even if you want a magic wand😁

and here some music and good vibes with the vapOS + Crucible:rockon:
