Can anybody tell me more about this vaporizer? There are no good reviews online, so if someone could give me a review of it, it would be appreciated

Dude this is an amazing unit... it is a personl vaporizer so it is not to be expected to be passed around. reason 4 me to say that is. for dry herb u should put a 3-4 hit amount and it will vape perfectly but for concentrates it will hold 4 times more then any g-pen style pen (ego w)
Okay, forgive me if I'm being overly cynical here, but:
One new member makes a post asking about a vaporizer. Another new member, who hasn't posted about any other topic other than vaporx products answers saying it's amazing... and the vaporizer in question is a re-branded Atmos Raw, a reknowned disaster in the vaporizer world.
mod note- Instead of implying someone's a shill and trashing a manufacturer, why not report the post instead? And this is not a question requiring an answer, just a different approach the next time you feel the urge.

well for now the only vaporizer i have is the Vaporx xrt so that is what i am posting on. my friend has the raw and i agree with u. but the xrt is way differant tech. new or not new u should get ur fact right befor starting problems with others... i think u need to take a hit and relax buddy...

sure.... The atmos Raw has a coil at the end of the chamber that looks like a car lighter. sitting on that is a ceramic type screen that the herb sits on and is pressed by a spring. we all know that the herb ends up combusting. now, the XRT has a dry herb chamber with a vertical ceramic core heating technology that runs up the middle for an even vape. plus, the XRT has a small metal chamber that holds dabs and sits it directly on the ceramic rod.

I was actually looking at this thread on sunday, and yesterday I did more research. (Got nowhere IMO)

I was at first a bit skeptical it resembling an Atmos Raw, further reading led me to think it's not, primarily because I read that there wasn't a spring. But I read only two reviews, both seem like they could be from the same person.

When I first saw it on amazon it was priced at 100ish, no more than 110, but I understand Amazon and price changes via quantity so its increase of price today doesn't phase me.

I'm not going to say its the same person, but running off of dialogue, similarities exist.
NOTE TO MODS AND FC USERS: I am in no way trying to discredit the company, any person, and especially not Vapester, I just want you all to know what I found out. Hopefully we can either choose if this is good or something to watch out for.
If this vape doesn't combust I am quite sure it will do well, I am hoping it doesn't (combust that is) as I want a Penn vape, but maybe that would be my own custom model.

Which was the driving factor for my reaction as well; as well as a thread on grasscity. However, this is why you thought it was an atmos raw
This isn't an Atmos product, it's Skyda. You might know but for someone who dosen't; skyda is a OEM vaporizer company based out of Shenzhen China. They are behind such knockoffs as the battery powered iolite that was floating around a while back. This is their latest; and they are being rebranded all over the place. These pens are at my local headshop right now under the name pocket rocket. I've heard some people say it's okay and but most people who I talk to tell me not to buy it.

Hi Guys!
Just so you know we are a sister company of VaporX which has just handed off the marketing of the vaporizers to us. But I wanted to pitch in an answer some of the questions you guys had. The VaporX XRT is meant as a portable vaporizer, however with that in mind it is NOT a desktop vaporizer. It's meant to be a highly portable discreet travel product. It currently uses a ceramic heating core with a proprietary heating coil in the center of the and contacts at the bottom and sides to help even heating.
The one on the left above (yes i am avoiding using the name on purpose) is actually actually a copy of our 1st generation product from an employee that left our company a few years ago. Evidently loyalty is a thing of the past. But now we are on the third generation!
The biggest benefit (IMO) our our XRT is that the dry herb chamber is interchangeable with our e-liquid canister (which only takes a few bucks to pick up). That way it is truly a travel safe product!
I am going to work with the site admin to get you guys special prices when we launch our new set of websites, yes he has been so kind as to already clear us for the forum
