Hey Guys,

I'm thinking about buying a vaporizer to vaporize certain herbage...
But I have some question about that!

- Is the taste of vaporizing those herbage good or not?
- Is it harmful for your lung? (As far as I'm concerned it's not but maybe I'm wrong)
- How much do I have to pay for a cheap vaporizer?

I would really appreciate it, if somebody can answer those questions.

Greetings Fabi_1309

PS: I'm not sure if this is the right thread!

@Fabi_1309 Welcome to the forum. If you are looking for a vaporizer you've come to the right place. Think about what you want in a unit is the first question. Do you need a portable or will you be mainly using your vaporizer at home. How much do you want to spend? Then you need to stop all of your herbage smoking. You will not fully be able to transition until you put out the smoke. Yes vaporizing is way healthier than smoking.

A solo is a great first vaporizer. You can buy one at Puffitup for around $150.

Look through the various threads, there's a lot of info.

To answer your questions....

Is the taste of vaporizing those herbage good or not?
Yes. The taste is incredible compared to combustion. You will be able to taste the differences in strains.

Is it harmful for your lung?
All the facts aren't in yet. But what has been found is that vaporizing is a much healthier option than smoking. You are not getting all the carcinogens that you do when you combust.

How much do I have to pay for a cheap vaporizer?
By this comment, I am gathering that you would like to spend as little as possible and still get a decent vape. The old adage of 'you get what you pay for' can apply to a vaporizer purchase. There are a few out there that are on the lower price side though. If you are just switching over, you might benefit from using the Vapor Genie or the Lotus, which emulate a pipe and are both portable. If you are looking for a desktop model, it will cost you a bit more. I would plan on spending at least $150, although a Hot Box can be purchased for around $120. The Arizer Solo is a solid vape and can be used both as a portable and as a desktop vape, but will run you closer to $200.

My suggestion would be to first determine if you want a portable or desktop vape. Then start doing your homework. There are many, many vapes out there to choose from.

Hey,

first of all thank you guys for your very helpful answers!

After reading these answers and talking to some friends who have a vaporizer, I decided the following:
I will buy a cheap vaporizer (Vapor Genie) and will test how heavy I will use it and if I like it . If I use it many times and I like it, I will buy a better one!

Thank you very much!

Greetings Fabi
