Hi, any uk members here? Where do you get you vaporizers from? There doesnt seem to be a very good selection from any of the uk sites. Ive been doing a bit of research and it seems like a good first vaporizer in my price range would be something like a vapor brothers, vaporwarez, v-tower but i cant find anywhere in the uk that has them. Is there anywhere you could recommend?
Thanks :D

Hey Murdoch. Im from Yorkshire, and agree directly in the UK it's not very good for vapes.

However the good news is a lot of the companies will deliver to the UK, the best ones eg: 7thfloor who make da buddah/ silver surfer make european 220v versions, with UK plugs if you want. Even vaporbros can be obtained in european version.

Im getting the Purple Days, and have just ordered it a couple of days ago. I cant wait!! :p

Good advice in the two posts above murdoch. EDIT has an excellent price on the Vapolution, which is solid unit. I used one for about two years. It gives you all glass vapor path with the AIW bowl, although the narrow bowl with no screen means touchy loading with small pieces instead of ground herb. I don't know how EDIT sells it for $150 US, but it's a good deal for UK buyers.

Vaporwarez Vaporcannons aren't being made anymore but Vaporstore is honoring warranties and still has some stock. They do ship internationally. For a whip vape in this price range I'd go for the DBV from 7th Floor though. It seems to have taken the lead over box vapes for discriminating buyers. Comes with a really nice storage bag too. I have its big brother, the SSV, but I did give the DBV a trial run and prefer it over any box unit I've used.

If you want a unit that's likely to be both a classic and trouble free, you can buy a Purple-Days directly from Purple-Days.com, since you're outside of North America. Can't beat it for measured doses and efficiency. Just decide what fits you best. You can find demos of all the units mentioned on youtube.

Thanks for the replys. Yeah, ive had a look at dbv and it looks pretty cool and its in my price range. Ive just sent them an email to see what shipping to the uk would cost. There's a guy on ebay selling the v-tower for 138 (about $230) including shipping. How do these hold up to dbv?
Thanks again

I assume you mean the Extreme, since the V-Tower is a bagless Exteme and sells for $200.

The Extreme is a dual mode vape, so consider it if you want to use bags as well as whip. As for whip mode only, I'd definitely go with the DBV for vapor dense hits and better reliability. The Extreme has a 2 yr. warranty and they have great service, but there's just more to go wrong with digital. You can get fatter whip hits with the Exteme though, if you pack the elbow screen instead of the bowl. Can't go wrong with either unit IMO.

Its the regular v-tower so looks like he's charging me $30 for shipping. I think im gonna go with the dbv anyway and maybe one of those handcarved vaporgenies for when im out and about :D

The only other thing to factor in is if it gets stopped in customs. Sometimes they get through without getting opened, however if they open it you end up paying importing taxes depending on how much the retailer indicates the item is worth. Also Parcelforce feel justified slapping a 10.00 (or is it even 15.00 now) charge on top of importing tax, just for the hell of it.

For my PD i would expect about an extra 20ish pounds if it gets opened.

Yeah ive had that before when ordering stuff from the states. I think its just hit and miss, but parcelforce are cheaky bstrds for charging a holding fee aswell. Ive heard that if its marked on the package as being a gift you dont get charged. Dont know how true that is
