Got my first one yesterday (sore arm was the main negative effect), and had a good amount of edibles/vapor last night. I haven’t read about or experienced any negative effects from the combination, so I’d recommend it! :)

I have read that taking over-the-counter pain killers at the same time as the vaccine (like before or right after) might hurt its effectiveness though, so I’d stick with cannabis for the day if possible. :spliff:
I recommend it as well but there are common side effects https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/expect/after.html

His advice has been spot on with me. I'd like to buy him a beer.

Thank you again! Hopefully this won't make you all hate me now, but I actually don't really like any alcohol... Maybe I'll take a fruity beer, blueberry logger or raspberry ale?? Though honestly by my own personal preference, I only really drink water and fruit juices... I mean our favorite plant is a pretty versatile medical recreational vice after all!
:lol: ;) :cheers::spliff:

Speaking of tips, those clear orings I had posted before from Amazon, that I was using to be able to screw my top ring down further and keep my stems fitting loose, well I decided to switch back lol Seemed like the stems were maybe too loose, and the clear silicone seems to be making a mark on the outside of the glass stem which the TM red o-rings do not do so they must be better quality as well... Anyway I put it together pretty carefully and I could get the top ring down enough I believe, the only thing is yeah my stems fit very snug now compared to my old TM, hoping it will loosen up a bit over time... Unfortunately this is my issue with most glass stem vapes that use o-ring connection, by which I mean nomad and imp, and the TM was originally more refreshing for me, because my original the o-ring is secure yet not too tight so I can get stems in and out easier than this new one... The other thing to try could be sanding down the bottom of my top ring threading? Or supposedly the inner tube, I still have not tried using the metal tube from my original TM in this new one, to confirm that that is indeed the culprit... I will at some point and report back again! I also want to be clear, this has been my only issue with my new TM, overall the fit and finish build quality of this new unit is much better than my original from 13 months ago (which again, is still going strong, despite one drop that pushed the battery spring lower and forces me to now screw the battery hatch down all the way fully flush for good connection, which is not a big deal at all, I do like how the new one does not need to go fully flush, though I do screw it down all the way for proper connection ofcourse) and it's working great!

I am interested to see when the changes took place. I only ordered my first one in July, arriving in September. The changes in build quality may have already taken place when I ordered mine, so my new one may be the same as my old one. I'm fine with that of course as my "old" one has been working great.

hummm :hmm:

... so why? do you think you have a lot of thread on that ring ?? I see that you are willing to invest in the right tools, in other words, a sanding sheet, so why don't you reduce the aluminum inner tube by 1 mm and get rid of your problem once and for all. solution I posted here more than a year ago(and I posted again a few times in the meantime)... and you are still in it ?? :dog:
it's just a tube... yourtube

Haha again, the effort of sanding down the aluminum tube, to a specific degree like that evenly, is not so simple for me personally!

I think sanding down some of the threading on the top ring, would also not be something I really want to do, though I think it would be a little easier and simple to do... I also can feel some unevenness there, so I think it being smoother, a little shallower, could help... No good?? I think someone else had posted about having done that here too...

But also we're not 100% sure that's going to solve my problem, what I need to do is first test the tube from my original TM in the new one, just to see if that confirms what you say, but also how that affects the tightness of the o-ring, me getting my stems in and out, because that is the problem I would like to solve really... Getting the top ring screwed down all the way, that's not necessary, I am fine with it the way it is now, but yeah that keeps the o-ring and the stems fit tight...

I knew just mentioning it would bring you out! lol I'll make sure to tag you when I post here after I test the old tube in the new TM!

I'll end up with another at some point. It's my favorite on demand portable (P80 for session) and is the first vape I would order if I had to start over. Totally a preference thing but there is very little to not like about the Tinymight. Drop protection would be most helpful but I don't see the design changing much besides a different battery terminal that's more robust. Also the fire button could be beefier for our good friend @Djsleepy who puts vapes through a torture test. Exotic woods (not a fan of the stained oak) are still a dream for me.

My February 2020 model is still going strong, it is just an absolute pleasure to use. I haven't cleaned any contact points in months and there is no noticeable drop in power, just smooth sailing. Maybe not smooth sailing when you crank the dial and get wrecked which is not hard to do. I like the low temps at least to start, I can totally avoid stirring with a nice even roast.

I wonder if they'll have 420 sale this year? That would be the small push I need .

I am sure...because I had exactly the same problem and a lot of people have ... almost all photos of TM's have the ring slightly screwed. Why??
I've even posted Ville's answer here
All of this is related to the height of the wooden body.

what I need to do is first test the tube from my original TM in the new one,

It can even get worse with the old TM tube if its wood is taller than the new one. :p edit: sorry I think the tubes all come from the same height so it shouldn't change anything

Oh I could have sworn you had said that the tubes were slightly different in height, from when you were showing me caliper measurements the first time I brought it up? Anyway when I performed that test, I shall see for myself! Would make sense if it's the varying height of the wood itself and only that I suppose... But yeah like I said I'm still not so keen on sanding the metal, if that will necessarily make the stems go in and out easier? I remember you said you mentioned it to them, but I don't recall any resolution from that? Anyway still TBD ish for me!

Yes, that's just it.
Ville said at the time that it was difficult to have very precise cuts in the wood and that there were slight differences in the measurements of the wooden bodies. Maybe he has something to learn from Mark @firewood :rofl:love my Fw7
It makes sense because almost all TM's have gaps on the aluminum plates.
The solution is to reduce the height of the aluminum tube (1mm) or as you suggest reducing the ring:cool:

Oh I could have sworn you had said that the tubes were slightly different in height
I showed an original tube next to the tube that I sanded

Easywider

Simple is the way
Yep, I had to do this with my 1st TM

The wood was about 1mm too tall causing my glass sleeve to rattle. I sanded the wood, glass rattle solved. But then I could not screw the ring flush and my stems were too tight. Why? well, I shortened the body so now the metal tube that used to fit perfectly was too tall.

I removed the metal tube and rubbed it on a piece of sandpaper. About 20seconds of rubbing 3x ( so 1min total ) and it had reduced by a solid 1mm and everything then fit perfect.

Direct comparison in specific vaporizer thread are not allowed i think.
You must start thread asking for comparison in the "Ask FC" section 😉
FWIW i really liked my splinter v1 but some it after I received my TM (smaller, glass stem more secure, more simple :2c:)
My bad.

I think the most used argument for capsules is that they shall make a refill easier and cleaner, but that just doesn't really apply in case of the TM. I have some JackPods and a few Mistvape capsules (the latter being close to the ones sold on the TM site), both work well enough (though limiting the power / heat a bit), but while they are easy to swap, they leave me with having to disassemble a capsule (which is hot and / or sticky) and brush two tiny pieces of metal, which is quite a bit more of a hassle than blowing abv out of the stem and swipebrushing the inner glass wall of the chamber. Takes me 5 seconds (had some practice, though).

I recommend getting both WPA btw

Good advice! I only bought the 18mm version, thinking it was better because it’s advertised as being able to take the CU, but through water, you don’t need it, so I never use it. All my glass rigs are 14mm, and even though I don’t like the multi-fitting ends they use, I should have bought that one too.
