Very nice art piece priced at 359€.
This makes me want to grab a box of crayons and a juice box and get old school. Like, elementary. Remember the Billy Madison art teacher? She would LOVE this VB!

I just put in an order for an art edition VB!! So exciting!! I'm hoping they can come through for me and I can get a matching bandit! Can't wait to say it's WOOOOOOORKING!
as in a custom? i thought they weren't doing those currently

Drinkaholik,
I’ve started turning the temp down for larger loads lately. I used to run around 10.5v for everything, but now I’m going down to 10v or even high 9s. When I say larger, I mean .15-.2g range. This amount completely fills the screen trench more or less. I still grind most of the time, but also doing hand torn bowls here and there. The VapBong handles all of it, and I’m really enjoying the flavor and smoothness at lower voltage settings. Still produces plenty of vapor in this range.

I love how versatile this vape is! As an example, I turned the unit back up to 10.5v for a night cap last night. Loaded around .05g, just enough to cover the screen, and killed it with three short inhales in quick succession. I went for a fourth inhale, but there was no vapor to be found. No restriction, no fuss, just quick effortless extraction. Still able to blow some solid clouds even with very small amounts!

I’m three months into ownership now. I’ve used the VapBong pretty much every day since then. I feel confident saying this is the best vaporizer I’ve ever used.

Also, a quick note on maintenance: I’ve only cleaned the vape two or three times since I got it, and that was probably overkill. I really have not noticed any build up at all except on the downstem. The screens get dirty fairly quickly, but it’s very easy and cheap to swap those out. I change the water daily, never letting water sit overnight, and that seems to be enough for day to day maintenance. It’s been well over a month since my last full cleaning, and the unit really doesn’t smell much at all. I’m really surprised by how clean it seems to stay. I guess ceramic doesn’t attract reclaim as much as glass does? I should qualify this statement by saying I am a fairly light user. 1-2 bowls per night generally.

I agree with you. I don’t want to be comparing vapes, but the OAB blows them out of the water. Well maybe except for my Weedeater.

If you don't mind i would LOVE to hear your thoughts on these 2 compared more closely.

FP:WE is my go to vape for at home and i have been rocking it since feb 2019.

I ordered one of these VBs, and while i see you got a OAB i am very keen to hear your thoughts on taste, ease of use, and rip size compared please!

I don't have either but from what I discerned by reading through the thread casually is it essentially comes down to air flow, the VB is wide open and the OAB is more like a dab rig style.

Haha. way to put me on the spot. I got mine late 2019 from Vgoodiez with the auber pid. I have used it exclusively since, along with my Tinymight. I thought I finally reached the peak of my VAS. Once, the classic comes, I think I'm done.

Taste is better on the OAB and I feel I can control it more. I can use a decent amount of herb or a small amount of herb. I am learning to control my inhaling and thanks to Shit Snacks for the suggestions. Low and slow inhales produce a hotspot, but I can also place all my herb where the hotspot is and get great results. I learning the quick and heavy inhale and it seems like it works better toasting evenly, but not as dark as the low and slow. I like how I can do these two with the OAB. One for full extraction, the other for even extraction.

As for the FP:WE, I have to pack the herb a certain way. I use these as screens, Diameter Stainless Steel Screen. Those are the ones that RBT uses for their stems. I wish they made them bigger for Vapbong's products. Those screens are so easy to clean. I have a system and it works perfectly in my opinion. Definitely milkier clouds with the FP.

More of a learning curve with the OAB. The FP took me a little to learn as well.

sorry i meant to hear about the weedeater by flowerpot, compared against these 2 :)

@alleyhoops thank you for your opinion! I really look forward to getting in touch with the VB when it arrives. I think it's very cool that the speed of draw is the factor that sets the cook environment. before the flower pot i had a daisy (sticky brick) and that vape taught me the same thing. draw speed is nearly everything. also how clogged the screen becomes. :D

Ok, so just for gits and shiggles I decided to use it with water today, I usually go dry. Gotta say, had a pretty good time.

This device is so stable, secure and heavy it's a joy to use it with water. I didn't have many of the problems I've had before with water. This baby may convert me to the water crowd.

Every day I go a little bit deeper into this thing and just fall more and more in love.

My big question then was how/if water affected flavor in the case of the VapBong?

@Texus I didn't notice any significant difference in flavor / taste / aroma with our without water. I wouldn't argue with someone who says there is a difference - I just didn't notice.

Went wet again today. I did a full soap and water bottle brush wash today so I can see how clean it stays by just changing the water daily. I imagine that will be the extent of cleaning: fresh water.

I love the pure flavour of going dry in some of my other devices but I need water for the huge rips I get from the VapBong/Bandit to help condition the vapor. I need a sip of water after every hit too. That smack of vapor to the face is best served with as much hydration as possible. Ice water for filtration cools the vapour nicely but (tap) hot water feels the best on the lungs imo.

With that said I haven't used the VapBong dry in a while so I'll give that a spin shortly to make sure I'm remembering right :leaf:.

i've noticed that with most vapes i've tried dry = a bit more flavor, but also more harsh. through water = easier to rip more and not bust a lung, but slightly less tasty.

I think because you can take more with hydration it kind of balances out on the flavor part a little. and less irritation for me wins out. I will give this one a go both ways though. how do you know otherwise?

I often take some hits dry off my first bowl after a fresh cleaning before I add water, it is fun yet still every time it feels like there's something missing until I add the water!

And much discernible flavor difference on those dry hits?
