I was wondering, what everyone on this forum thinks of this kind of law.
On the one hand, the UK pays for it's citizens' health care. A policy that helps to save money for that service which increases the care provided for other non smoking related illnesses has got to be a good thing.
On the other hand, let people live the way they want to...
I believe that most smokers wish they had never started in later life, and to prevent those inadvertent mistakes a law like this makes sense, but in the other respect, I'm all for not telling people how to live thier lives a long as thier actions doesn't cause harm to others.
Broadly speaking I'm behind this law.... Kinda reluctantly.
What do you think?
