TED Corrosion

I've got both a Tempest and Tornado vaporizers. Lately, I've been getting terrible flavor and even some smoke from the Tempest, so I finally disassembled it today and noticed some corrosion inside.

I've currently got the disassembled parts soaking in Liquinox, but I'm not sure how to fully remove whatever this corrosion is or if it's safe to keep using.

I'm also concerned the same issue might be developing in my Tornado. I now know how to prevent it going forward, but I could use some guidance on how to deal with the corrosion that’s already there.

Can you share some pics or anything? Titanium on the Tempest should be highly corrosion resistant and that sounds very odd.

Early on i did have some natural oil from my fingers that got on the metal and ended up cooking on. It had a kinda nasty smell when it heated until I cleaned it but that was only on the outside. It also would create smoke which bugged me to the point of disassembling my wand thinking it was the problem (it wasn't and I don't recommend disassembling that ever unless you have proper tools to get it back together). All gone after a proper iso soak and scrub with a soft cloth on the Tempest.

I would have only expected reclaim if using flower inside so I am very curious.

Sorry I don’t really use Imgur much. Let me know if you’re able to see this
