Anyone seen this yet? I just got a hold off it and well...
I'm kind off dissappointed cause i bought it after watching the Vapefiend video Telling it would be on temp at around 20-30 sec.
I could not have been more misinformed then i have been now. Seems it kinda is a rebuilt, remade version of the sublimator UFO... Or I'm missing something.
I cannot argue about how it has been built cause that is top notch sort off.. except for the screw thread inside the titanium mass where you put it on the bowl. Rest of the machining is uber nice it has sublimator engraved etc, it has a titanium nail to do your oils on, basically it is made completely out of Titanium. It has much improved since the UFO. Oh i forgot it also has a Carb cap for when your doing oils.
But here is my thing, where are these improvements in materials etc shining then? heating it up? taste-wise maybe?
I'm not sure.
I tried heating the sublimator Eliminator up the same way Vapefiend did it in his video. It was not even near temp lol.
Then I figured hey the equilibrium needs to be achieved so i started heating the titanium mass just as i used to do it with my UFO.
The mass heats up near a minute thats pretty good allready, But same thing as with the UFO, you have to redo this a few times to get the bowl up to temp and get the sublimation process going. 3 redos should be okay.
You can use some spit, a wet finger, to feel the bottom of the bowl near the teflon and check if it sizzling or not.(NOT TO FORGET THIS IS ALL PRETTY DANGEROUS)
Cool part is with this version, there is a metal handle to operate the heating element with now instead of a chain, shitty part is it gets hot with usage... not red hot but hot enough that you can only just hold it at the backend of it between thumb and index finger.
Back to heating it, after initial heat up is completed u can load it up and start sublimating.
It is best to reheat 30 secs after every hit to keep temp up. Equilibrium etc.
I've tried herbs only and with oils and must say taste is amazing with titanium. I've only tried the stainless steel version before and this seems whole lot better when using oils for taste. I thought anyhow taste was allready amazing with the sublimator. Very oily and the effect.. wow.
I was just wondering if someone could chime in, if i was doing something wrong heating it up i don't know..
Thanks in advance!
