A while ago, the CBC aired a documentary on a show called 'The Nature of Things'. It is a sciency show with little good science in it.

This was linked on the CBC website; it is the aired 45 minute documentary about the subject title in this thread. It is laughable for several reasons.

In my opinion the fundamental mistake made is that contstant coorelation is being mistaken for causation, but decide for yourself.

I think that is precisely the case. Not too dissimilar is when such TV programs (needing to look "balanced") show the dark side of MJ use by showing some off the wall characters who should be institutionalized. They are very mentally ill, but just happen to smoke.

I cringe every time someone tells me "pot causes schizophrenia" because of this misleading documentary. It's interesting that studies that put cannabis in a negative light seem to receive so much more attention.
