So it occurs to me that we finally have the venue for a FC get together......two in fact. I suggest Colorado.

As a starting idea, how about early summer at some big hotel (hopefully some local can suggest a suitable place with a wide assortment of accommodation suggestions?). Say a weekend in July? We could do it low key, rent a large room or two for socializing, perhaps a 'rubber chicken' dinner on Saturday?

Or perhaps get some of the fine vape makers and Dealers to speak? Set up some booths. Hold a few workshops on topics of interest? Do some after hours serious stash and vape testing with new found friends? Carpool to local dispensaries? Be kind of fun to have a shuttle bus leave the lobby on the hour for a circuit ride.......

And it would give more time to plan. It would think it'd have to be done before fall set in? I wonder what the transportation costs and options look like. For instance, that's great country for a train ride.......

Be kinda fun to put a few faces to some screen names, wouldn't it? We could treat it like a weekend in Vegas...... ('what happens there, stays there'). Real cowboys don't use their real names when they go to town you know.

I like it, but kinda hard to judge?

Same Old Tim (of TV fame) and I started a project to try to measure vapor clouds. We had good luck using IR light to measure density (in both reflected and transmitted modes in fact) and were working on a scheme to measure volume (the other half of the deal).

We were thinking of a fixed flow rate (say a 'float the ball up the the line' deal like Doctors use) and measuring time (if we knew the ball meant XX cubic inches per second, and knew the seconds....). We also thought of putting an air flow sensor in the vapor path and integrating it up at the rate delivered. Could make for a really fun 'game'. Say everyone playing contributes a gram which is used for the competition.....with the winner getting the rest of the stash......

I'm no good at all at Big Clouds, but I'd join in just to get a front row seat to watch the big boys at play.

Another great example of why I'm happy that Colorado did a better job getting legalization going than Washington: Denver is the obvious choice for this event.

Now Colorado will forever have to play the role of the world's cannabis playground while we just sit here in Washington peacefully vaped out of our minds agreeing with how badly we suck at legalization.

We're #2! and we like it that way.

But assuming I am healthy enough to travel, I've still got a few good couches to crash on between Denver, Boulder, C. Springs, and Fort Fun. A cheap-o last minute flight deal and I'm there.

Hey, Washington was my second choice.......we can just move it there!

Thanks for offering. Might even save some on lodging......should we bring towels? How many tents do you think we can set up in the yard? We should order some Porta Potties, too.

How's the sale going? We should plan this for after closing escrow, right?

A cheap trip for me if we chose WA. Hempfest is in August. Hopefully the legal prices will be down by then. Washington is beautiful in August.

I understand choosing Colorado, it's more centrally located.
