Shatter vape

Hello people, how are you? Newb here
Sorry if this is in the wrong place, please point me in the direction if it is. Been vaping a while but still chuffing on the canabis ciggerette. I am now getting some shatter and I am looking at making it into ejuice, but have no idea of the best way to do this. I have been all over the Internet researching but it seems to make things worse there is so much out there. What do you guys do? I have variable temp mod, I will need a new tank is ceramic the best way to go? What is the best liquidisers?
I have been wanting to do this for ages but just been to much of a wus to try. Lol
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My understanding is that putting cannabis extracts in standard Nic vape tanks just doesn't really work. Nicotine is extremely strong so only a relatively tiny amount is needed in the solution. With cannabis the solution is either too thick and sticky to work well or it's thin enough but too weak to be satisfying. People mostly stick to the standard 510 cartridges (not NIC tanks) with a ceramic core, they work with stickier liquids.

People around here, myself included, are mostly resistant to "artificial" thinners like PEG, but it will work. You can buy natural terpenes (from cannabis or other plants) to thin extracts. It only takes a couple of small drops added to a gram of distillate, a few more would be needed for something like shatter. I fooled around with filling my own carts but it's more trouble than it is worth.

A few fragments of shatter in a nest of flower in a dry herb vape is yummy.

let this thought go Brickyard... just enjoy the shatter as shatter. Do not waste and ruin the shatter trying to turn it into something else.

If you want to vape juice, just buy a prefilled cart.

Wouldn't that simplify everything? You don't even need to buy any new equipment.

Hi thanks for that. Nah not in the nic vaping tank, I will make seperate carts or tank for special juice. Interesting on the terps, I was looking at true terps. Have thought of a mod that just vapes that shat.

Man I would love to just get a prefilled but untill our goverment gets with the program, it is a little bit tricky.. Uk. I have actually recently had some prefilled disposables which were very nice. But rather pricey, hence making my own. I hear ya though bud. Ta

Go get a quartz banger and a cap, you should be able to find a cheap set for $25-30. And you will need a torch. Pair it with your existing glass and enjoy dabbing like a pro!

There has got to be people out there that have got making juice down to a t. They do it for retail lmao.

If you have access to high terpene extracts like Live Resin or hash rosin you can sort of make it work by simply decarbing the hash. The natural terpenes act like a thinner.

I do agree with everyone else that this project is probably not worth the time commitment. I was on this path maybe a decade ago before I said fuck it.

Does that island have Puffco products? Their new Pivot may work for you, especially if you're using shatter. You can pre load chambers with a little shatter bowl. Not as convenient as a cart, but you'll almost certainly come out ahead in terms of time invested and frsutration over making your own cart oil

I believe vapefiend has the pivot, for example. Also I'm sure a nice banger and torch would probably be easy enough to come by there too.

As mentioned above, the puffco pivot is available at vapefiend and recvapes have the lightning pen and some other concentrate devices. Both, I believe can supply quartz banger and carb cap too.... Recvapes have some that go on top of vape mods if you already have one of those... Look into the v5 if that sounds good

I recommended the Pivot because of the interchangeable chambers you can pre-load. It could simulate the cartridge experience a bit (but not totally).

But if the Lightning pen is significantly cheaper it may be worth trying that out first to see if you like the wax pen life.
