So, I am not averse to the idea of posting vids on FC of some of my vapes, tek etc. But I don't really want to blast weed stuff all over my youtube page as I live in a non legal state and there are some people I still need to keep in the dark about my weed use even as a grown man with 3 grown kids.

Is there a "safe" place for video hosting on the web that anyone knows of/uses?

Unfortunately, there really is no completely safe place on the web. You can make your links to YouTube private or invite only.
