Recommended mod boxes for a Splinter

Hi all!

I admit it. I’ve got that bug. You know...VAS!

I need a convection fix NOW. I thought I had it figured out until I started reading about the Splinter. Uh oh...

Which brings me to box mods. Can you in the know give me recommendations? Adding links would be great and much appreciated.

Wismec Rx Gen 3 dual for a budget mod,that is very widely used,so people can share settings or a DNA based mod, if you want to spend a bit more (with DNA devices, you can just download a "profile" that will set all the settings for you)

Not profiles... But you can download custom firmware for the Rx, that allows you to tweak it a bit more

I'm sorry I confused myself. I have an rx and I put arctic fox on her to use with my splinter and I can see you can program everything on pc instead of button presses. I see it has profiles that can be set. Is it possible to downloaded splinter profiles and then upload via pc? If so where does one find these profiles? I would love to have one just watts, then another for cruise control and another for a splinter z.

Like @Sensory Leaf says, you have to input settings into whatever firmware you put on the wismec. Both your old rx and a new rxg3d support myevic and Arctic Fox so you'll be in good shape for your V1 and your inbound ZV2. You can have saved profiles that'll let you switch up Splinters without having to enter the settings again but the profiles aren't pre-made by someone else to just upload to your device. I try to keep my Splinters on a dedicated mod to reduce wear on the 510 connection.
