One of my favorite authors (and human beings) Terry Pratchett has died after grappling with early onset Alzheimer's. I'm still reeling from the news. We knew 'Raising Steam' was the final Discworld novel, but it is still shock.
What a superb human being, very Sad news. I joined Discworld late but have been a massive fan since I first read Small Gods, which I shall start reading again tonight.
