Questions about caring for wood vapes.

I have a few wooden vapes but the one I’m most concern about is the iHeat. I have some Dreamwood wood “wax”, and I was what’s the best way to apply it, and do you “buff” it off after you let it sit? How do I know if I’m using enough? Do I do the inside joint area on the iHeat since it’s all one piece of wood? What about the stem?

I also have a SB Jr, should I use it on everything but the bowl?
