PID with SSR output wiring

Hey friends I hope you can help me out with my predicament . Some time ago I bought the Qaroma lite ball vape. After some time my controller died and I bought a new one from aliexpress, thinking its the same/similar model. My old one(first 3 photos) was wired 1/2-power 4/5heater and 6/7 thermocouple. New one(4.5.6 photos) is a bit diferent that it has the SSR output connection and the AL light. Now then I tried connecting 4/5 Heater wires from old one both the SSR ouput and the J1 output, but nothing really happens, temperature stays the same and doesnt change. ANy help or guidance would be appreciated

Can't see your pics

I've replaced a few xmt 7200 modules, which was always pretty straight forward
But never quite understood the 7100 wiring to be honest

Yeah - that's what I thought :(
The old one is an XMT 7200
The new one is an XMT 7100
It may be possible but I've not managed to figure out the wiring

I've done the same
£15 for a new module isn't too bad tho
Yeah that aspect of it is chill, its the 10day wait:D I've already put up with my old one for 3weeks, the EEEE message keeps popping and it feils to keep the heat constant. Doesn't go above certain Celsius without me literally blowing air with my lips at the coil to make it cool down so it activates some drastic heating method to heat up the coil quick thus giving me at least somewhat of a window of proper vaping:D. Its a chore to say the least. Any who, again big cheers for the help, I hope this thread ends up helping someone to not make the wrong choice

Do you have the SSR going to the coil or to an SSR? I have an Inkbird setup and it uses an external SSR, I would assume this is the same.

Hey, yeah so I believe I have no SSR. And my older model had one built in. But you do give me hope that it is possible to hook it up somehow:D

Ill leave this here in the reply in hopes that it will help someone help me. I dont wanna go on a pointless path of hooking relays up without having much knowledge of schematics, but if someone approved the idea it could help Id Youtube/chatgpt the rest somehow.

For anyone who makes the same mistake of buying the xmt7100 instead of xmt7200 it is possible to get it to work, but you will need to buy a SSR and use the posted schematic, its a bit of effort if you are clueless like me, worst case the local place you buy your SSR can help you out most likely, you will need extra 2 wires I believe it was as well.
