New Omnivap coming soon?

I saw that when the new 2019 Dynavap M came out not too long ago, everyone loved it more than the 2018 model as expected. I have the 2018 and it’s been serving me well. I’ve been considering getting an Omnivap XL but I’m afraid to get one because I don’t know if a new version will come out. Does anyone know if Dynavap is working on a new version?

They probably are working on a new version, but it probably isn’t coming very soon. Maybe later in the year, but maybe not. If you really want an Omnivap XL I’m not sure it’s worth waiting.

Whatever they come up with will look different so if you like the faceted Ti body/stem part there’s no reason to wait on it. If you don’t like that part, you can buy something else with the Omni condenser and probably save some money. You could even just buy the Omni condenser and a Ti tip and use your M body as the stem.

If money is a real problem, you might find a used one in the “Classifieds” section, or you could just try an XL condenser and spinning mouthpiece on your M if the XL is what you’re most interested in.

Can you use an Omni condenser in an M? I recall seeing somewhere that carb functionality of the Omni condenser won’t work with an M.

You have to use a Ti tip with an Omni condenser, the SS tip doesn't fit. Otherwise, yes, you can use an M stem with an Omni mouthpiece and condenser. George talked about it in one of his youtube videos.

From what I remember George saying in a recent Dynavap video, a new Omni is in the works...but it's not going to be released soon. It's hopefully going to be released later this year, but could be later than that.

Well that’s good to know! I have multiple Ti tips and prefer the design of the 2019 M body over the current Omnivap body design. I’m assuming you’d need to get the Omni XL stem? Or since the mouthpiece is built in would you just need the regular Omni condenser?

Edit: Playing with the Dynabuilder, you need an XL Omni condenser and a Ti tip to work with the M body.

The standard length Omni condenser will fit any 45mm body. The Omni XL condenser will fit any 62mm stem.

The M sports a stem midsection so it will accommodate the Omni XL condenser.

The SS M tip will 'fit' the Omni condenser but the condenser will not be fully functional, so if you're going to spring for the Omni condenser, get a ti tip at the same time to ensure that you will be enjoying the full experience.

I ended up getting myself an XL Titanium condenser, a spinning mouthpiece, and the adjustable titanium bowl.

I ordered the XL condenser, ti tip, and spinning mouthpiece for my M.
I already paid for the M and it works fantastic so I figured why not just upgrade it? I don’t mind the carb hole (It’s fun), and I figured it would work better with the spinner considering I have big hands and I want an adjustable bowl too.
