Moose Labs filter

If you vape and are like me, still concerned about depositing waxy oils in your lungs, you might wish to try these little tools.

I use them with beaker bongs, a desktop bong with a whip, the stems for my Arizer Air Max, and (I hope) with my soon to be arriving Dynavap.

I am very much not an aerosol scientist, so I have no proof or data, but to me these seem to pleasantly elevate/refine my meds. No cough, plenty of bang.

Its not clear which one you are talking about?
Mouthpeace?

is the filter supposed to remove vapor?

Oh... sorry. Um, the Moose Labs mouthpiece uses a replaceable filter. Not sure if they're the same company, but the roll says they're from Mouth Peace (haha).

I had used them when I was smoking and they did help there quite a bit. Then I decided to try them after switching to vaping, to see if they could cut down on the cough/rattle sort of feel my bronchial tubes occasionally get. I discovered that it helps there too, but also that it alters the high. There is a "purer elevated" quality?

YMMV, but it could be worth a try for some.

I am certainly not the expert on this but with filters , when you smoke the particulate matter is filtered out to some micron level. I have no idea what the particle sizes are when you vape and how volume of vapor would be impacted by that filter.

But your idea is a good one. Needs more research or perhaps someone a lot more familiar could weigh in.

It seems this has been studied quite a bit for e-cigs. https://pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articl...tte aerosols normally exhibit,8 particles/cm3).
so YMMV for vaped cannabis

With all the wonderful (and wonderfully amazing) stuff going on with aerosolizations in Tornado land, there may be something here.

Even without the carbon filter insert, these are great at events so you aren't sharing mouthpieces. My partner uses one with the filter inserted to help dabs be less rough on her throat.
