Mod Rec's and Questions for Splinter & Others

Hey all. Have no clue on mods with zero ecig experience. With Splinter live and some others coming can FC shed a light on some options?

- I guess a starter mod rec, mid level, and a high end?

- What's the difference between the different modes? ie watts/volts, temp, etc.

- Recommended online stores?

I got an eVic dual from a domestic ebay seller for use with a Tubo X that's in transit. Folks seem to find it serviceable but I don't have a Splinter yet to pair with it.

From what I've learned it's not important to spend big money on a Lost Vape mod box and you don't need to buy a low wattage box since you can just set it low for our quirky purposes with 510 heaters like the Splinter or Tubo.

try this thread, I went thru it a few times and settled on a Lost Vape Therion that I was able to find for a very decent price. Seems like the Wismec is relatively well regarded and can run the Tubo firmware which allows you to have a button-free 4 min session on temp control.
