Hello guys,

After being in the vape game since the first lamart tubo evic og came out, I have lost track since the ball vape game started.
Now it's time for me to fetch up.

I've seen a very interesting offer on the classifieds for the Cloud Connoisseur Omega Lite (which should be this package https://cloud-connoisseur.company.s...mega-Coiled-Kit-Lite-International-p610658016)
Would that be a good start into the world of ball vapes?
As I'm based in Europe it's quite hard to get hands on some of those, or at a very high price (e.g. cannabis hardware @ lacentralvapeur).
I'm looking to not spend much over 200 € (250 € if really needed but prefer to stay lower).

The same member ist also offering a Newvape (Cannabis Hardware) Titanium Showerhead - without any accessories.

So my questions are:

1) Is the Omega Lite a recommendable ball vape?
2) I've read about wireless coils - would it be possible to upgrade that kit? If so which parts are required?
3) Is the Titanium Showerhead a solid option? What additional accessories would I need to make it work?

My waterpieces are mainly 18.8 mm female - that should fit with both options (omega and showerhead), right?

Thanks in advance.

Kind regards.

Edit:
After a quick research the only comparable ball vape would be the Ruby Twist which is available for ~160 in the UK

I think that Omega in the Classifieds looks good, however I would want to upgrade the coil with an axial coil. And that looks like it is probably the old style NV PID controller, so you might have some trouble finding new coils for it.

If you look at the ball vape thread you'll find a few good options, but as you said, being based on Europe can make these expensive.

People have had success assembling vapes from Ali Express, although I haven't tried one. I have a trick rule that I only buy vapes made by vapers.

It might be worth looking at the cost of the CC International kits to get a baseline on cost for shipping etc. I would also recommend looking at phase 3 if that piques your interest. Both ship internationally but I have no idea about the customs costs, etc for your country.

Thanks for your reply. I bought that piece just to get started somewhere. I'm excited to try it out once it arrives.
What do you mean by axial coil? One that has that "closed" bottom? Intended for wireless use if I'm correct?
And yes I guess it's the old style NV PID controller.
Is there any specific coil you could recommend for that?

I've researched so much about ball vapes and came to the conclusion that there are few pieces interesting for me because of the horrendous shipping costs + taxes for importing.
I'll try the omega from the classifieds for now and then see where I can upgrade.
As I'm a big VAS victim I see myself ordering something new in the next few weeks :D.

As for bowls, it comes only with the glass diffuser bowl.
I've done a bit reseach and found these two screwball bowls (new and old style) at a reasonable price. Would they work with the Omega?

Yep, they work quite well and, of course, can be used to heat the bottom of a banger

Unfortunately I don't think I have ever seen an axial coil, especially a 20mm axial coil available with the New Vape legacy connector. If you are using that PID controller, I think a stretched barrel coil is your best option. If you are looking to branch out to more ball vapes, I would consider replacing that controller with something that uses the quick release style XLR connector, ideally with the Auber/D-Nail pin out.

I have the old screwball bowl (no glass post). I think it is a pretty mediocre bowl and really works best with the screwball. It tends to stick to the Omega, just enough to be annoying. I have heard the new bowls are much better but I don't know about Omega compatibility.

I would recommend the CH shovelhead, or even the knock-off over the Screwball bowl. The Vulcan is also an excellent choice, but it might be expensive to ship to you. My favorite diffuser bowl is the glass bowl with the SS mesh screen from Cloud Connoisseur.

If you have the injector modules, you can also look at the 18/14mm injector bowls. My personal favorite is the CouchLog WPA from JoDa glass.

I can definitely vouch for the Ruby Twist if you're still eyeing that one - really nice ball vape for the price, particularly with the microdose bowl. The Omega is a solid unit and great value (the fact that it can function as both a diffuser & injector style heater is very handy, assuming you have the parts), but I'd prefer the Ruby Twist if I had to choose between the two. Better flavour imo.

The Omega + (heated) Vulcan bowl combo is great fun though if you've got an extra coil handy.
