howdy fc crew! i have an old enail box and a new ball vape coil. the pin outs are different. can i just swap where the wires land in the box to match the target layout? pin out swaparoo in the pic 1 is the goal and 2 is the existing box layout.

Yes - you can swap them around in the box or in the plug
So long as your coil is the correct voltage for the box and your region

ok thank you. so to verify on the terminal strip in the right pic i will take what is on 3 and swap it with what is on 5. correct?

Don't trust the numbers written on the module
Follow the wires from the socket
And either switch them around on one side or the other of the socket or on the module
