is the Arizer XQ2 a good desktop?

My wife purchased a Arizer solo2 a few years ago and lately she's been droppin hints that it doesn't hit her like it did when first purchased, and is all excited because the same company's "NEW" desktop is on sale, half off, $160, that seems like a bunch for something that heats weed so you can inhale it without combusting.

A guy over on reddit was hard sell'in me on ball injector, log, or something called a tinymight as being more of an upgrade from the solo2, I never even heard of any of those so he said I should come here and ask : )

Hey ! It might be that the battery has gotten old . Maybe get a new one , i really like my Molicel p28a and VTC5a ,but for the solo you can do with less powerful ones,just make sure you buy from a legitimate seller,brand and within recommended specs. I would take a pass on the XQ2 ,there is a thread about it on the forum and users are not very impressed by it.
Ball injectors are cool ,but they are not the only one ,there is also the Herborizer and Life saber ,which are very god desktops and of course my favorite the logvapes. You have can take a look at Underdogs and HI/GTR, Enano , Couchlog ,all solid choices
I also own a Tinymight 1 and Tinymight 2 and i recommend getting the newer version over the old one ,i just performs much better IMO. While it is a pretty hard hitter on par with desktops, i use my desktops more for some reason, ,less hassle ,not having to mess with batteries and remember to charge them,i prefer my vape to be ready 24 7 for operation .

Welcome to FC! Yes there are plenty of much better options now, the tech has come a long way, I've suggest skimming through the other ask FC threads to see what is commonly suggested and then checking out those product threads, good luck!

$160, that seems like a bunch for something that heats weed so you can inhale it without combusting.

You might be surprised how much an excellent herbal roaster can cost, but there are many factors to consider. Since it sounds like budget is a major consideration for you, I would also suggest a log vape. One of my favorites is from Alan (toasty-top.com), the Heat Island. It starts at about $50 but you will also need stems and a power supply.

Although there are lots of other good options around the Airizer price point. I feel like, even on sale, the Solo2 would have cost you something like $120.
