Is it safe to keep cords wound up while vape in use?

So my Buddha has a super long cord which is cool and all but where I have it now, I would only need a 2ft cord. Is it safe to bunch up the un needed cord and put a twist tie around it?

I keep my Buddha on constantly for several hours at a time usually and on weekends it never gets shut off

What's the general consensus on this type of thing? With cords in general???

as long as if the currant going to the surfer is returned on a wire right next to the hot wire, there will be no inductance heating as everything cancels out. just the currant flowing through the wires will cause heat. they should be rated to 90*c atleast. but they do need room to breath

may not be inductance heating, but there can be resistance heating -- as long as the wire doesn't feel warm (or hot), you're okay
