Hello FC community! We have a new product out that I thought might interest ya'll! Take a look and have a wonderful day!

Introducing our new pad for vaping concentrates and oils. Our new pad is
made of ceramic (silicon carbide and glass) instead of stainless steel.
Our ceramic pads provide cleaner, tastier vapor and will not drip or
leak into your vaporizer. Also, our ceramic pads are cleanable and
reusable (unlike stainless pads). Upgrade your vaping rig with
VaporGenie ceramic pads today!

Our pads come in two diameter sizes: 11mm and 13.4mm. The 11mm size fits
the Planet of the Vapes “One” vaporizer. The 13.4mm size fits the Vapor Genie
Glass Sherlock vaporizers (Glass Sherlock and Mini Glass Sherlock)
Each diameter size also comes with two dosing sizes:
20mg and 40mg. more on this below.

If you want other sizes, please let us know. We plan to offer many more
sizes in the future.

Our pads may take a little longer to heat up compared to stainless steel
pads. But not much longer.
The new VaporGenie ceramic pads have several advantages over
conventional stainless steel pads:

INERT CERAMIC-GLASS MATERIAL
Stainless steel can chemically react with oils and concentrates when
heated. The heat of vaporization results in slight pyrolysis (i.e.
burning) which create organic acids that can corrode stainless steel.
Our pads are made of a silicon carbide-glass composite, which is inert
to vaporization conditions and organic acids produced by vaporization.
Our ceramic-glass pads therefore provide a cleaner vapor without
offensive metallic or rancid flavors.

CLEANABLE AND REUSABLE
Our ceramic-glass pads can be cleaned by incineration. Incineration is
easily done by heating the pad with a small torch flame. Incineration
completely removes all traces of organic residue and leaves a perfectly
clean pad. Stainless steel pads cannot be cleaned by incineration
because the temperatures required (400-800C) will burn the stainless.
Burned stainless generates large amounts of metal contamination (nickel
and chromium oxides) and is therefore unsafe to use. Because stainless
pads cannot be cleaned, they must be replaced often. Our ceramic-glass
pads can be cleaned over and over again and will never release toxic
substances.

NO DRIPS, NO LEAKS
Stainless steel pads often drip and leak into your vaporizer, forming
hard-to-remove residue that produces off-flavors. Our ceramic-glass pads
do not leak (unless they are over-filled, more on this below), because
the pores are very small, much smaller than the pores in a stainless
steel pad. Small pores retain liquids better because the capillary
forces are stronger. With our ceramic-glass pads you won’t have to worry
about your concentrates leaking into your vaporizer.

A PIT FOR ACCURATE DOSING
Our pads have a (patent-pending) pit for accurate dosing. The pit
has a precise volume, and so when filled flush the pad holds the same
amount of material every time. The pads are designed with absorption
capacity sufficient to retain material from a completely-filled pit.
Our pads are available with two pit sizes: 40mg and 20 mg.
Our pads can be used in combination. For example, if a 60mg dose is
desired, stack a 20mg pad and a 40mg pad together. The pit-dosing
feature works best with material having a paste consistency like that of
honey or butter. Use a rubber spatula or scraper to fill the pit
level with the top surface. Do not overfill beyond level, because this
can oversaturate the pad and result in dripping and leakage.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR INCINERATION CLEANING
Place the pad on a heat-resistant and FLAT surface. Hit it with a
blue-flame mini torch until it is heated until it stops smoking. Do not
heat to red-hot, glowing temperature. Full red heat is not necessary and
may cause warping of the pad. A flat surface is necessary because a
non-flat surface will cause the pad to bend and warp; a warped pad may
not fit properly into your vaporizer. Overheating or warping does not
make the pad unsafe to use or damage it in any other way. The chemical
composition of the pad is not altered by overheating.

Do not attempt to incineration-clean the pad by holding the pad in a
flame with tweezers or hemostat. The pad will bend and warp.

A recommend surface for incineration cleaning is a flat firebrick. We
will soon offer ceramic cleaning “stations” for incineration cleaning.

ABOVE: Vaporgenie ceramic pad is cleaned by incineration using a small
torch lighter. You do not have to heat the entire pad to red hot for
cleaning. But the edges will glow red. Beware that the pads can bend and
warp if not placed on a flat surface.

Hey looks interesting. Two questions:
  • No mention of price. Did you have a target price in mind? I did see where there would come in 2 sizes and you would package in pairs. worth trying.
  • There was also no mention about expected product life although it can get torched.

If you're looking for someone to independently to try them out and give you constructive feedback , i will raise my hand.

Thanks for pointing that out!

Price is $15.00 for four packs.

They should last indefinitely if used correctly!

I just got some new concentrate to experiment with. Especially something that is really runny. I can' t believe the viscosity of some of this stuff. I keep my concentrates in a sealed container in a mini fridge & when the packaging was tilted it mostly ran into the lid of the container. it is a live badder. Anyone else run into something like that?
