Hybrid Ball Vape: OHW, Screwball, or other?

Hello everyone,

I am interested in a ball vape and I'm interested in a more hybrid model, as I really want the conduction effects and not only convection. I was thinking which one would be best for it. After doing some research, I guess both the OHW and Screwball may offer it, but I was wondering which one would the best for this hybrid approach or if there are other alternatives that are a better fit for it.

Also, for this hybrid heating, if we are taking about the Screwball vs Ace Wireless, would the wired Screwball be better?

Thanks.

No ball vape gives you a true hybrid experience (convection and conduction) unless you all heat the bowl. Placing the housing on a metal bowl is not sufficient to heat the bowl enough to add any significant conduction.

There are various ways to heat a metal bowl before loading, torching, an enail, etc. I only know if two bowls designed to be heated (CC Vulcan and CFH Electropath). Other ones have been made to work by dedicated enthusiasts.

(Edited to fix the name of the CFH bowl, too early to post)

If you like to play around with different bowls I wouldnt recommend the OHW as the diffuser side wont fit any other 22mm bowl than the original hybrid titanium. Also it lacks mass in my opinion.

The Screwball could be efficient for wired and CC Epitome is something to look at if you like the wireless approach.

You are incorrect in your statement. The Flower kettle head can be used with the glass bowl or path and if you put enough weed into the bowls then the tip of the head comes into contact with the weed thereby "conducting" heat to the weed as soon as it touches said weed. Then the "convective" air is added with your draw. The meadia inside the flower kettle head is not to power the heat because the mass of the metal does that but to act as a changeable dabbing surface inside the head. The head works without any balls at all in there so maybe it's wrong to classify as a baller
head? As far as the heated "bowl" thing. The electropath is a constant heated path, sure it is a bowl, sure it gets hot, but the path is where it differentiates from everything else out there. A heated bowl, like the one you speak of only heats the sides of the weed load while it's in the bowl. The path heats the vapor after its produced in the bowl if that makes sense. There are portables that try to mimic this but lack in the flavor department because of the "time" factor. By the time the weed reaches temps for vaporization, the flavor profile is burned off in that minute. In that time you can get 3 flavorful temperature controlled pulls out of the FKVS. So yes it can be considered a hybrid. If you don't put enough weed that the tip does touch the load then obviously no conduction just pure convection.

What about the Ace?

What about the Ace?
I dont have any experience with the Ace but by specs it dont seem to match the Epitome in weight, mass of media or the material (Ace is Ti, Epitome Ss)
I think the OHW and Ace are pretty closely matched, and the difference between the OHW and the Epitome blew me away. Ss being a lot more efficient + more room to hold mass for example rubies.
I believe the Ace is smaller than the Screwball.

Just saw the Aroma 360XLS. It seems to offer a more conduction than the usual ball vape. Now I'm kind of between that and the Screwball. What do you guys think? What are the pros and cons for each if you don't mind me asking?
